25 years ago when I was a DJ at a couple strip clubs, I used to slip this one in. From Foo Fighters 2nd LP, just an awesome album from start to finish. First time seeing the vid. "you a monster" ... You guys kick my ass... Peace!!!!

the video aside this is one of the most romantic rock songs I've heard in a while. they actually did a string version of it on friends for a wedding, it was absolutely stunning and I'll be using it one day. they also played it at the end of the very last episode of David Letterman, they postponed their show in Africa so they could come back and do it for him, they're the only band he wanted, this song got him through his heart surgery. grohl played an entire show with a broken ankle from falling off stage.. anyway yeah they're incredible.

Err... so you guys know "Everlong" is a break up song, it's about Dave Grohl's divorce from his then wife Jennifer Youngblood. The song "Walking after you" is also about their relationship exploding.
Are you sure? I thought that was Monkey Wrench was the break-up song.
I could be wrong but I read it somewhere that Everlong is a love song to Louise Post after his relationship with Jennifer was falling apart. Monkey Wrench on the other hand is the divorce song.

@@durv13 nothing about having an issue over their race, just interesting how the youtube algorithm basically changed my CZcams preferences after watching on video to suggesting I watch a whole collection of reaction channels that were also black people and the songs were mostly rock. I watched a few but it turned out not to be a genre for me, back to cat videos.

Aside from blabbering about the movie references like Evil Dead. I'd suggest if you enjoyed the song, see how it has evolved over the last 20 years and the incredible audience interaction, performance and feedback it gets today. You might see the Wembly Stadium version as an example. The Foo Fighters put on a really good show.

I did but I didnt want to say anything because I wasn't sure. I love that series, including the remake. I even enjoy the tv series. Now, my wife on the other hand absolutely hates it. She doesn't get the humor/horror aspects of it. But I thoroughly enjoy the running gags.
