Thursday Captain Boots are massively popular. But, having two lasts can make choosing the right ones tricky. In this video, I go over the differences between the Classic Captains built on the Encore last, and the Rugged and Resilient Captains built on the newer Kingmaker last. Which Captain do you like best?
I have 3 types of captains, one pair of the presidents and a pair of the logger boots. Love all 5 pairs from Thursday! Their women's boots need to be made better though. A friend of mine had to replace two pairs of the women's because the side zipper was non-functional and on the replacement pair, they used poor quality foam material as the outsole, and it cracked all the way across the bottom. So, she ended up asking for a pair of the men's captains in her size and has been very happy with those.
3 Captains! It really is hard to pick just 1. So many great options.

I own a President/Mocha, Captain/ Black Matte, and just got the Captain Stormking/whiskey (from Warehouse sale). They are all very nice. Will be getting more... Think I like the President the most at this time.
My most-worn Thursdays is a pair of Presidents. Wore them all the time until my son took them over. 😆
I like seeing the Dusty suede Captain in a review. I've only gotten their Majors which I like very much, but wanting to try a Captain and was considering the Dusty suede.

Just bought a pair of Dusty Tan Suede from eBay UK, someone ordered from America and didn't fit, I'm in England, not widely available here , they just arrived this morning, just tried on, feel nice, I'll wear them out walking my dog today to break in, impressed with what I've seen so far, feel nice and look to be nicely made.
Excellent! I’ve really enjoyed my pair. Surprisingly comfortable.
@@StrayReviews update took dog for 7-8 miles walk wearing them, put a spare pair of boots in a bag just in case they pinched, got to say as comfortable as anything I've ever purchased

I have two pairs of Thursday boots, my Captin Storm King in tobacco which are my go-to when I visit my daughter in Minnesota during winter and my scouts in bison are my go to for when I have to look nice. I have pretty square feet so I'm looking forward to trying the new last. I think a pair of diplomats are in my future
I really like my Diplomats. I would even consider getting another pair.

Kingmaker as it is the only last that I have tried with Thursday that actually fits my foot shape (in wide). I'm considering getting my resoled with a Vibram 2021.
Kingmaker is definitely my favorite fit.

I love the Arizona adobe when they’re new. I have a problem where I brush my boots every day and make them look good but I think doing that so often gets the oils out faster and drys them out. They don’t look as good now. I probably need to condition them soon.

What were you brushing it with ? I think theres a certain kind thats not bristled that better for daily maintenance of the look but not as aggressive.

Thank you! Both of those jeans are just regular ol’ Levis 511. They fit slim but not skinny, just the way I like them.
