Best part of the interview is learning that MPJ's parents bought a snow cone stand and had him talk to strangers to help socialize him cause he was home schooled

I homeschool my kids that's a good idea. I was neighbors with MPJs family for awhile.

That fall in the draft ended up being a huge benefit for MPJ. That added pressure of being a top 3 pick, being expected to play and make an immediate impact but instead sitting out that first year or big portions of the year has crushed players confidence in the past. Ie Faultz, and Jabari Parker.Hearing him talk about his continued difficulties with his back while simultaneously putting up 54/44/79 splits on 19ppg should make every Nuggets fan excited.
Both those guys got injured. Parker tore his acl like 3 times

Can I speak for Nuggets fans when I say how lucky we are to have this man on our team. I find myself rooting for him when he is the kinda player that I normally wouldn’t. I mean for me it is sometimes harder to root for guys with all world talent, not right or fair. MPJ has shown character and work ethic to go with talent. Wow. Impressive.
So glad that after he came to Denver he knew how much of a good fanbase we are and how much we love our players and having someone like MPJ here on our team feels like a dream come true. Jokic,Jamal and MPJ having 3 of the best players on the League in their position is just great
