Bodaboda in Kenya was introduced during kibaki regime to curb rising theft and hooliganism.....in Rwanda probably just to solve transportation demand...trying to organize Kenya's bodaboda is like trying to control a syndicated cartel 😂
The thing is we are not where we want to be but surely we are moving , youngsters who are under 30yrs we witnessed the leadership under PK and I would say we are luck to grow up here , comparing to few countries I have been to we are progressing, however there are still sectors we still need to make progress on such as education sector , employment readiness, agriculture and regional security .
I commend our leadership and I pray For my country to never go back where we came from

Starting to regulate Kenya’s Boda Boda is like trying to treat cancer at it is final stage.All the government can do is cut it off and let there no Boda for business use only for private use.
I don’t think there is any country that can accommodate such crazy business, rules or no rules once the number of Boda Boda increases so does the lawlessness.
There is no way Rwandans can't obey rules, this is all because we have confidence in our leaders. We know whatever government does/sets, is for the betterment of its people. Kudos to Rwandan leaders!!!
Meanwhile Nairobi governor is on a sharp suit and speaking fluent Elizabethan English,on the ground the streets are dusty crowded no one follows any rule be it littering around, breaking traffic rules and lack of effort by both the county and national govts to march infrastructure with the speed of development going on.

Customer safety is peak by use helmet ,,but I feel like unhygienic for similar helmet used by different customer without sanitation.
Carry a shower cap and shawl if taking a boda...vaa cap na ufunge scarf kabla uvae helmet. Wash and sanitize cap and scarf after use😂

Normally in Rwanda it's a must to put on something before wearing a helmet
Helmets are subject to be washed everyday and whoever wants to be more protected can put a towel before putting a helmet. Every rider has a sanitizer and has to sanitizer the helmet for each passenger.

Regulation is the key to Every Kenyan driver who pick or get a licence. Kenya with everything turning to us verses them...ministry of transport can make it a mandatory to have the GPRS tracker, then take it that all licence issued must be connected to government which reflect each persons details and offenses can be updated by evidence of pictures or videos, by police. Each offence should be notified by SMS to the licensed driver.
Every car should bought by an individual should reflect in his licence in the ministry portal not just the normal log book.
Any person who give his car to another person temporarily government should put a transfer method and measures in the portal this will cub the problems where owners like matatu and taxis give drivers who when they make mistakes on the road they always get away with it. In itself it will bring a self discipline since any fine would be attracted first to the person driver who was driving the car. Every traffic light should have a CCTV camera to cab rogue drivers.
