Honestly, the grinning faces of mortek guard is half the reasons I've become invested in OBR, they project strong "I'm so much in love with my work" - they are hilarious in a good way
The name of Ossiarch Bonereapers faction comes from the name of Ossia empire. Which is nothing more than a slightly modified «Russia». _Skeletor will return next week with more disturbing facts_
As a fan of both The locked tomb AND OBR...yeah it's an amazing army to look at and gotta have my space necromancers. (quick aside, all of the locked tomb archetypes (soul, flesh, and bone necromancy) fit VERY neatly into 40k and should be there because SOMEBODY has to have been stealing all the rest of the skeletons to explain all the skulls on things)
@@jazzy4830 same, but you can still give them an egyptian inspired color scheme and it's not too difficult to convert Vokmortian, the Gothizar Harvester, Mortek Guard or any Morghast units. And Arkhan's already good as he is basically
@@jazzy4830 I'd just convert them a little maybe, and use them as Ossiarchs anyways, I'm sure some group of them might be inclined to Egyptian theming and the usage of necrosphinx type things
@@rootsnootthnute8598 TK definitely had an issue with their ugly old sculpts (the horses especially I remember complaining looked terrible), but I find the Ossiarch models overdesigned and ending up actually looking worse and more generic with their weird exoskeletons, extra arms angry eyes and action model proportions. I would have just liked a revamp of the older line and some tweaks to bring them into AoS more like the Ogre kingdoms>Ogor Mawtribes or Goblins>Gitz.
My parents bought me this box + bloodletters for christmas then my birthday after I said 'Whitey-red guys' describing t'au😭. Now my main army is orks and the bonereapers have gone long forgotten. Tonight I will attempt to paint my first guy wish me luck. Also nice video and love the channel. Wish you would post more
