I've been following this band for 20 years. I love N'Dea Davenport. She looks so damn hot in this video.
What a night.. Incognito followed by the Heavies.. met N’dea after & drank lots of pils
Yassss Maysa 💯 🔥 ✊🏽
MY FAVOURITE TRACK , GOTTA DO RIGHT TO BE HAPPY ! SO TRUE !
AMEN TO THAT !!
Saw these live so many times in the 90's, always great, Ndea is awesome!
Amazing 🤩 I miss those times where music was played by real musicians.
The audio alone of N'Dea and the fire of how the BNH band played was magical, don't watch this video, listen to the flame, energy, spice, beat matching and composition of their sound with N'Dea Davenport as vocals, they just drop it into a soulful deep and delicious experience. N'Dea gets the crowd involved, it's just juicy music at it's fullest sweet nectar to my ears and a temptation treat to my soul. This is what the BNH has always been, bring this back to reality. The Rhythms and funk masters of a unique foundation of Acid Jazz, that wine you can always go back to, and each time, it's just as great, no matter how old that bottle gets, that flavor is still there. Now the wine, it's vinegar, it's not edible to the ears, bring back N'Dea and throw away all these bad bottles.
N dea was always bnh for me x
SOME SERIOUS SOUL MUSIC WITH A MESSAGE !
Friend of mine was at the show. So many happy people enjoying the night of superb funky music! Thanks BNH
Just love everything this band does. Totally inspiring.
What a voice though.
HAS IMPROVED WITH AGE LIKE" A GOOD WINE" .
Both Seida Garrett & N'dea did this song something good!
Siedah Garrett did well, but N'dea makes the song sound really like BNH
Garrett was the original to sing when they replaced N'Dea. Ndea still is better
Love the heavies
Smooth version!!!!!
The best group ever
Blazin’ 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
My all time favourite live band. Just sheer joy. Superb.
And GREAT hair as always babe ❤️
REALLY COOL TRACK !!!!
I was curious if N'Dea sang this song at their live shows, since it was their one big hit during her absence from the group, (1997-98, when Siedah Garrett was the lead vocalist and writer of this song, as well as their whole "Shelter" album.) Glad to see she is singing it. As usual, she sounds GREAT. As the songwriter, I'd imagine Siedah would be proud to hear N'Dea doing such justice to her tune.
That's something to ponder. Shelter is such a great album though. The audience would be expecting to hear the songs from the album.
Shelter is a great album Siedah really did put her own stamp on the vocals the musicianship and production are also top notch . N’ Dea is carrying the track equally well .
When Siedah is involved, it is going to be perfect because she takes songwriting seriously
Me encanta!!!
somehow as a kid I came across N'Dea Davenport. I never knew she was the singer for Brand new heavies
phenomenally
" OLD SCHOOL "
Great night! Great gig!
Very nice version, diferent!!!!
Cool video, Powerful song!
Rachel performs background with Erykah Badu also
Better voice from most of the legend singers
Lourd
❣️❣️❣️
The Live In London version is better, but gawd I love this song and this band. Such an important piece of Acid Jazz lore.
He was trying to render the comping as played on the Ummah Remix of the original track - see video: ge9Mm_bf4UA
Great, just great BNH rules!!
Anyone know where to find the rest of this show?
What happen to the groove?
, I know the whole band India Davenport
Is N'dea still with the band,or has she left again, does anyone know?
The crowd are dismal. The music's awesome!!
A fantastic song, but those synth chords are a little bit dodgy, changed the essence of the original.
Love saeedah on the lead
pour jslf
N’Dea has always been the truth of this band and without her, it is just fake
They (BNH) try and try to replace this women... and ALWAYS FAIL. Even this was not sung by her (but the replacement) and she still nailed it better :)
Better my as
New heavy too much sometimes but good!
no bra! :OD
Where's the base tho? It's all about the base. It isn't the same song, this is lousy version.
Didn’t feel the vibe they all look like unhappy 😢
Davenport's very good but I prefer Siedah Garrett. BNH is my favorite acid jazz group but that piano they're using in this sounds shitty. Like a toy. Really cheesy.
The most back handed, pimp slapped compliment I've ever read😁
