    Oh for the simpler times. That is one long elevator. I have never seen an elevator fill a silo either.

      Yes, way less electronic sensors to go bad and wiring harnesses to chase in 1957! That's for sure! Lol. Thanks

      I grew up on a Dairy, in the 80s/90s with ring clamped silos. I also was unaware that an elevator system had ever been used to fill them.

    I saw a lot of # N spreaders and a lot of John Deere Chuck Wagons growing up, but I never saw an N spreader converted to a forage wagon.

    How is it OK to put feed into a manure spreader? I know animals are a lot less susceptible than humans when it comes to consuming dirty food, but that seems like it could be a LOT of manure going into the trough. (Not a farmer.)

      You get whichever one of your kids was bad that day a hose and tell them to go at it washing it out
