      Kiersten V awesome I’m glad you enjoyed it! I’ll be back in NOLA sept21 vending the Oddities Expo at the Alario Event Center, should be an awesome collection of vendors & artists. If you find any cool places I missed in this episode let me know I’m always looking for new places to check out 💀👍

    great video! I would suggest checkin out the boutique du vampire shop next time (ask them the password for their speakeasy) as well as the French market. also, go in the garden district: magazine street is a cool area with nice bars, shops, boutiques etc and there's a nice cemetery as well (Lafayette cemetery n.1). check the Hot Tin bar at the top of the historic Pontchartrain hotel (said to be haunted) from which u can have the best view of NOLA skyline. also, check out the carousel bar in the Monteleone Hotel (also said to be haunted), in the heart of the French quarter. finally, the two best bars in the area: The Dungeon and the Jimani....hope u have a great time in Nola, WHO DAT!??

    I love New Orleans so much. Clicked this for some nostalgia cause I’m missing it and you showed a ton of places I’m gonna hit up next time. Especially the cemetery that was open to the public. I’m a cemetery dweller for sure 🖤🍷 plus the vegan places mentioned help.

    You reignited my love for New Orleans and if all is open and safer by August, would love to celebrate my 50th (ugh.) there!! I loved the idea of walking over the swamp on the boardwalk. Hopefully this can be done in the cooler months as well. I loved the Fort. Had no idea! Loved all the vegan places but was so sad to see Atlas Monroe is an LA joint :-( Ah well...we'll definitely have to hit up Good Eden Nola Plantmade (formerly Good Karma) and LOVED Secondline Arts & Antiques. Definitely a great video for sites off the beaten path. Thank YOU!!

      @@CatacombCulture I don't know about places to explore as I've never been there, but I am very curious about what vegan fried "chicken" is actually made of!

    • @CatacombCulture
      @CatacombCulture  Před 5 lety +1

      Maggie Fry I’m pretty sure the vegan chicken was made of a soy bean protein, I’ve been vegetarian/ vegan for years now and that was one of the best “fried chicken” I’ve ever had! I think they flew to NOLA for the festival from San Francisco.
