Crossbow Portable CNC Plasma Cutting Machine (English)

- ESAB’s Crossbow is a compact CNC cutting system that is portable and economical. Crossbow can be equipped with plasma, oxy-fuel or both. With plasma, Crossbow can cut mild steel or aluminum up to 20 mm (3/4 in.), or stainless steel up to 15 mm (5/8 in.) With an oxy-fuel torch, it can cut mild steel up to 100 mm (4 in.) thick.
The easy-to-use CNC includes a library of 24 common shapes that can be configured and cut with a few key-strokes, and without any programming. Crossbow also comes with programming software that will convert CAD drawings into CNC files, and a USB port for quick & easy program transfer.
Crossbow is available with 4’ x 4’ or 5’ x 10’ cutting areas.

I wish they had gone into the portable aspect of it. We have a 10'x40' Esab plasma cutting table and it's been pretty good so far. would be nice to see the portable operation a we also do turnaround field work.

If you cut with oxygen i guess height Controller is automatic trough induction. In plasma cuttting the arc voltage regulates height. Thats my experience from plasma cuttting. What usually is a parameter u must set is piercing time if i remembered correctly

Yes, if they have a CNC port.
It would be nice if you would actually lived up to your warranty on these, I have one with a bad stepper motor been trying to get it fixed for a year and a half!!!!

Fastcam from Australia. portable CNC ampere power best choice is from 45A to 160A. Roughly we help customers to choose 100A. Better to choose torch lower Ampere. It's like get 100A plamsa with 80A torch. Thickness from 2mm up to 16mm depend on the plasma. It's better to matain the cutting speed from 1.5 to 2m

maybe because Pronest is with high equipments, so beter to be used on large machine such as gantry machine, such portable machine you can use FastCAM to do nesting, @@oliviadesigns2015

The Crossbow HD (in the regions where available) could be used to cut C-Channel, but you would be responsible for creating a fixture to hold the channel straight and at the necessary height below the torch.

I am 1:18 into the video and I am wondering why you guys make these machines so complicated I mean everything you did I understood but with a cheap UI you guys have I would never own one unless if you put a ethernet, or a USB or a serial port on it so it can be hooked & controlled by a pc.
