- Mazzy is buzzing today! full of happiness and energy..Dan ain't lol. So we woke up to a serious windy storm and whilst in the awning the wind pulls out the pegs and tries to blow it away. Luckily all is sorted and we spend the day in the motorhome making the BEST scotch eggs EVER!

ABS and ESP lights are probably due to the van sitting for weeks, corrosion on the sensors on the brake calipers. Spray Wd40 on the sensors, clean them and drive the van a few miles. Hope this helps.

On a boild egg, the black bit around the yolk is because the eggs have been left in hot water after they have been cooked. If you put the eggs into cold water directly after cooking there will be no black around the yolk.

We had our Awning the same as yours set up on the Cornwall coast last Xmas and winds were recorded at 59mph and it stood up fine (rather noisy inside.!!).
It will weaken over time in the sun. Look after it 🙂

With the ABS and ESP light, they're both brake sensor warnings, check your brakefluid levels, and then pump the brakes a few times whilst driving. Most need to be driven around 25 miles before the sensor will reset itself though.

Thank goodness you were on hand regarding your awning, it’s been very windy here today as well .(Friday) some of the jokes we not to good were they Dan. You could have done a mr up by the sounds of things.
I think you may be on the toilet after trying the old marmite, yuk. Scotch eggs looked nice. How long did you cook them for in the end. I think you have listening to to much music Mazzy popping toast in and pressing play hehe. Toast perfect for me. We always do ours in air fryer. I like it that way. Comes to personal taste really, good thing Mazzy is no fat for cooking either.

Hi Dan and Mazzy. We have the small 2L Chefree in our motorhome and its perfect. Its only 900w and so small it fits in a cupboard. Its amazing how much food you can get in it in 1 go. I can't believe Chefree have stopped making it especially from a motorhome and caravanner's point of view it's ideal.

I never use the grill for toast, always airfry the toast it’s the same as a toaster.

Mazzy get yourself some silicone liners for the airfryer I got some and it saves cleaning the draw ever time you use it. As for the gunky waste pipe try a jet washer if someone has a drain hose attactment to hand, I have just done our house and motor home pipes they came up a treat.

Would your awning be more secure if it wasn’t on those rubber tiles. The pegs won’t be in the ground fully so more likely to work their way out in winds! Mazzy the scotch eggs looked lush 😍 (nice save there Dan 😂)
The rock pegs almost go through the rubber so that ain't a problem.

I make toast in my air-fryer nearly everyday, 400⁰F for 3½ minutes and it comes out golden brown and beautiful on both sides. Not sure of the temperature conversion to Celsius.

In America you can buy Texas Toast, it is thick slices of bread infused with garlic, butter and herbs. In spite of its name its not toasted when you buy it, you need to do that at home in the oven or air-fryer.

@@TravelTrollsTV A cheese straw us flaky pastry with cheese mixed into it, and you cut the pastry into straps and bake, they come out crispy and are a nice snack x
