If your post shower symptoms continue, definitely consider being evaluated for POTS! I have it, not from covid, but I know it is a common long haul covid side effect. Mine started with shakiness/exhaustion after showering and now I’m just coming out of a really bad flare. Something to keep in mind!

Meghan, I’m astounded how similar we continue to be. I have POTS after having Lyme disease and I’m so sure you have POTS too, I take medication for it everyday and am able to live pretty normally, I could never stand for more than a couple minutes and my legs would shake the same as yours, I had a shower chair as well. I really hope you go to the doctor and can try some treatment cause I certainly couldn’t survive without my medication and I think it would help you so much. I love you and have been watching since you were in high school
Which meds do you take for your POTS?
You have classic POTS symptoms...I would suggest finding a cardiologist who specializes in dysautonomia and letting them know you're post Rona and what your symptoms are. I have POTS and dysautonomia due to other reasons, so I'm quite familiar with the post shower shakes.
When you defuse you plop sections into the cup and let it sit as to define the curls and lock them in with heat! You hair looks like it needs more leave in conditioner rather than gel because your curls are already so curly!! Curls love moisture. But you look amazing! I’m sorry to hear how hard it feels post covid for you. Sending you love! ❤️

Hey girl from everyone saying you have POTS, I have it too, it gets better!! I manage mine by upping my sodium levels and meditating using diaphragmatic breathing. There are some great guided sessions on CZcams with tutorials. Mine had me in a wheelchair and I’m now living a great healthy life :) you got this! If you need anymore resources I’d be happy to share ❤️

For the bowl method, it dilutes the product, so you have to use more. I like to scrunch in mouse after the curl cream, then microplop out excess water, then gently use praying hands to apply gel.

Idk if this is super obvious but if showers are exhausting maybe a bath is the way to go? If the actual standing up is an issue rather than the effort of making yourself do the thing? Or get a shower seat? Or like... break it into chunks? Like today is hair washing day, tomorrow is body washing day/doing your extended beauty routine if you have one etc.
But tbh one thing my grandma always does is go have a "cat lick wash" where you get a flannel/body cloth and simply wipe yourself down with a little soapy water.

my best tip for bowl method is that I put the bowl on a surface and sit on the edge of my tub so I get to sit the entire time, perhaps an option to help with the lasting affects of COVID on your body :) xoxo

I just don't know what it is about watching you bake, I just enjoy it so much. And you did not make to many starfish. So we've seen a few houses now, and #1 kinda blows then all away, have you not had any luck putting offers in, or are they selling to fast?
As someone who hasn't had covid, the bowl method also makes me feel sick for some reason. I don't really know why, but I kind of like the method so I might just keep doing it lol

Also when we were house hunting, our offers were not even being considered until we decided to write an offer letter ! then for the last 2 houses we all of a sudden became second best until we finally got accepted for the house we have now ! idk if people care about that kind of thing in LA, but it helped us in Norcal !
