I testrode a CBR500R, but the CB500F is much more fun :) Not only is the position more comfortable, it also handles a bit better, it's easier to ride through traffic and to make a U-turn very fast... And I think it has a meaner look :p

I ride on a Triumph Street Triple daily, its awesome, but its not very economical, not that it matters money wise. AND the S.triple usually uses at least 5 - 6 L per 100km average in my city commuting, I read somewhere that the GROM can go as low as 1.9 L per 100 km. Or 2.7L/100km if you drive to the revlimit all the time. Yup, I think I'll buy a GROM to use for my commuting, get it some decent tires, new mirrors and an akrapovic titanium exhaust. Exhaust sounds good in this video too, but I'm more familiar with Akra. quality than Tyga.
He comes out of first gear around 42 KPH. Do you believe a Grom can do 42 MPH in first? Check out the scenery at 0:18 as he hits 59 KPH. Does that look anywhere near 59 MPH? Lol, come on guys. Looks like one hell of a fun little bike!
He got that up to 106kmph = 65mph. Plenty fast for the majority of UK roads considering the amount of speed cameras and shitty road conditions we have over here now. I am seriously tempted to get one of these.

***** I disagree regarding the "people that ask for two stroke motors" comment! I would bet that most afficionados of 2-strokes are vintage bike enthusiasts like myself, that recall a great past, fun era of motorcycling. And I ride and appreciate many different types of bikes. In fact, most of the bikes in my garage are 4-strokes. Yes, 2-strokes are a thing of the past, and illegal above 50cc's. Which is why they are not made for the U.S. market. If we had laws that allowed better engineered, fuel-injected, small displacement 2-strokes (say 200cc and less), i'm sure the 'big four' could manufacture and price them to be competitive with the likes of a 3K 'Grom'. And from what I understand, air pollution is greatly reduced with today's 2-stroke technology, especially coming out of smaller displacement, super high-revving motors.
