At 4:13 you hear 2 male voices which both belong to Arijit Singh but true story behind it is that Arijit Singh was given 2 choices by AR Rahman , 1st one was to sing at a lower voice range/ octave and 2nd one was to sing at a higher octave , so Arijit Singh recorded 2 times to see which one was better and AR Rahman accidentally dropped both audios at that place and he was shocked to see how good it sounded so at the end he decided to keep it..
And all this is true since he( AR Rahman) himself revealed this in one of his combined interviews with Arijit Singh
The fact that Imtiaz Ali wanted to show two state of minds of the character, one is hyper and other side is calm. When we mix both the low and high octave, you get the requirement, it's showing characteristics of lead psychology
