I have been listening to Opera for over 50 years....no tenor has touched and moved me like Villazon!! I wish him all the best, and hope to hear from him for many years!!
Me again. Rolando is better and better as I said, but now it is me who is getting better and better at listening to Rolando's amazing voice. And then, of course, the fantastic music of Romeo and Juliette. So much feeling he puts into one song, one opera and I drink it all in. This opera was staged 8 years ago, and his voice has become better as time went by, even after his throat surgery. He now has a certain extra quality to his voice that amazes me every time I listen to him, it so beautiful. I hear it, maybe others don't. I feel sorry for them. His voice is exquisite and it is becoming deeper and richer as time goes by. I will never stop listening to him. Thanks for everything, Rolando. Love, Cora xxx
Maestro Villazon is getting better and better all the time. I return to this music time after time and it gets more beautiful by the minute. I am getting more and more fascinated by it every time - and it absolutely flabbergasts me that there is just one posting (now two) after all this time? The opera was sung in 2008 (8 years ago) and only me - only me - who recognizes the beauty of the music and the man! Music written in the 60's get more viewings than this glorious opera! I saw one of the "songs" attracted over 105 million visitors!!! I still don't understand this world.... - probably I will never understand how this is possible! Love, Cora xxx

Rolando sang this song so beautifully, I wish I could understand the words. Please, maybe someday, someone will have pity on us, the English speaking public from far away (practically on the other side of the world!) and translate it for us.
