All my grandkids LOVE the little old cash register! It's pretty sturdy to be 75 years old, so I do let them push the buttons and play gently with it. The swan I found on Facebook marketplace, and I got my son-in-law to pick it up for me. He came through my front door with it, yelling "I got your big 'ol duck!!" 😄 🤣 😂
What can I say, I don’t have the words, everything is so well put together, and goes together so well.. I loved it all, I decorated a little today but needles to say, nothing like yours but it brought me joy since I have never decorated for the 4th, thx so much for the inspiration 🌹♥️
Bertha, I have loved to "play house" since I was a tiny girl! My daddy built me a playhouse which I decorated continually (Holly Hobby curtains) and I dearly loved playing with the Fisher Price little people house and furniture. I'm sure my mother gladly invested in those toys because it kept me mesmerized for HOURS every day! 😄

Summer is usually the time I have just regular farmhouse decor going on, but now I’m inspired to add in some vintage Americana. It’ll fit right in with the things I already have displayed. Love the little flags all over in all the pitchers, you have some really neat Americana. July 1st is Canada day, we don't go all out like ya'll do. I usually put up a few things. 🥰💕 You could take some sections out of the wine rack, put boards down & turn it into shelving. More space to hold treasures. 😉

It kinda worked, but it wasn't easy to squeeze into the rectangular spaces of about 6 wine bottle widths. I'm reluctant to alter it, so I might just let it be useless until some inspiration hits me 😆 Maybe the grandchildren's books would go easily 🤔

About 20 years ago I had one of those flags without a stick that was that size and then elderly gentleman told me that those were window flags people would put them in frames or place them in their shop windows to show their patriotism
I never knew that! 🇺🇸 That is AWESOME! When I saw those flags.with no sticks for 25c each, I had no idea where I'd use them, but I knew they'd be great in a patriotic grouping! 😃

The energy is usually just pure stubbornness to do crafting and decor even when my body betrays me! I do things in stages over lots of days, normally. And storage is the biggest challenge EVER! I rotate my decor seasonally, so all my closets are full, my attic is stuffed, the garage ain't great, and under every bed I've got decor. A dream would be to just devote an entire room as a personal decor "store" 🖼 🌼 🍽
