The Bluetooth Audio Streaming technology allows wireless streaming of music or beats to SPIN - this way the turntable becomes a speaker for your smartphone. Damn son, the portable game is on fire right now!!!!! The PT01 Scratch is legendary and all, but, the competition ain't playin' around, at all.
Reloop just brought out a game changer. Aside from just getting the parts you need for a portable set, this is literally the next level for the portablism wave.
@@PoloBeeX7 I 100% concur! I'm not gonna lie when I'd give the PT01 Scratch is a 3/5 rating turntable out of the box/stock form. What's bizarre is that it was specifically designed for the purpose of scratching, by one of the most reputable turntablist brands ever, but, it lacked so many standard features required for scratching, such as ultra pitch, a decent tone arm, no rechargeable battery, and a few other things. If it wasn't was Jesse Dean, Bihari, and a few other modders out there, the PT01 Scratch wouldn't be the legend that it is.
....But this Reloop Spin, looks like it'll be all kinds of legendary, in its stock form!! If Numark come out with a sequel to the PTO1 Scratch, they need to come correct, no more cuttin' corners (no pun intended).

HandyTrax formfactor with all the bells and whistles of every considerable mod on a PT-01, minus maybe an adapter for other stylus/cartridges, but luckily it looks like a similar tonearm mechanism of the PT-01 or other portable turntables. This looks great love that the fader is movable for right handed scratching, wish they had a video of them showing it off. Also love that it comes with 7in scratch vinyl, and I'm the most interested in that USB Recording button. Amazing product! I guess I'm considering selling my modified PT-01 after trying it out.

How to solve the problem of the low volume of the aux signal and the inability to adjust the volume of vinyl. Using different sources (BT, line) you can hear the beat a little and the disc a few times louder and this is a big problem. I have had Reloop Spin for a week and it prevents me from comfortable use because I can't hear the beat, the disc is too loud and there is no way to adjust it. A question to Reloop asking for help.
What is the cart and needle like which come with it ? Do you need to replace with an orthodontist or something better?

Just remember if you're serious about scratching you need to replace the crossfader. The delay the stock fader will not work for anyone who wants an authentic scratch experience. Great product but it's sad that it's marketed towards scratch djs and isn't technically scratch ready out the box

You can swap the fader to 2 positions, left & right and everyone can use the SPIN for scratching. It's just a coincidence that all the Reloop artists in this video are scratching with the right hand on the vinyl.

I know, that was a bad question :) The point is, i want to be an oldskool house dj, and I thought this turntable would be suitable for me.
@@CitizenofTatooine you need good decks to keep the timing right or your beat matches will be all over the place. Real turntables are great and took me a long time to move on from them but they are just too much effort. They weight too much. You need to lug them around gig to gig. You are spending $15-20 per vinyl for one song and a remix. Keep them for scratching and move to digital. The art form is dead now anyway.

I have the Reloop Spin, Got it early from Sweetwater.com. The crossfader is trash. The crossfader used in this video is not the crossfader the unit comes with. The rest of the turntable is nice, but this is a little misleading for them to imply that you will be able to scratch well with the included crossfader. There is about a 1/4 gap before the fader cuts in. This is unacceptable for a crossfader. As a company that makes DJ equipment, you should have known better especially if this was designed for scratching.

@@ReloopDJcom Everyone who is buying spin is for intense scratching sessions. To upgrade to the jimmy dean fader cost another $60. Why release a sub par product which doesnt fit its intended use. Such a shame. I would much rather have bought spin with fader already installed and paid $60 extra then you would have received 5 star reviews by djs all over the world and sold double or triple the amount of units. Like so many said 1 flaw - Major flaw. Is there a version 2 being released I wait until it comes out unless a competitor does it before you guys . Cheers

the reviews from some substantial dj's say the fader is garbage.
Looks like its the same type of motor ,platter ,tonearm, and cartridge /stylus as pt01 /handytrax its the same basic design but looks much more stable because of the layout and positioning thay had the opportunity to release something great out of the box people are going to changing that tonearm and platter and cartridge in the first week thay have it mabey thay (reloop ) purposely put shitty tonearm, platter, cartridge in the hope people will modafiy them and void the warranty so when there poorly built turntable shits itself ghay never have to replace /fix them i just think if thay really cared about the portable scene thay would of make a turntable that there proud of that gives the consumer everything thay been asking for in a portable scratch turntable by releasing this it tells me thay are using the portable scene as a gimic a way to sell out a product line and amost 100% of them will be void of warranty because reloop forced it on us by releasing it will a rubbish tonearm idk mabey im just looking at it to closely
