- Joan Baez surprised everyone attending last night’s showing of her film “I am Noise” by spending time answering questions (with friend Jan Tiura) and then greeting people. An incredible film and an amazing woman, those attending appreciated her answers to question regarding her mental health journey, her singing career, and her activism for social justice issues. #hmboddfellows #film #iamnoise #halfmoonbay #joanbaez #mentalhealth

I was fortunate to be in the audience to see this extraordinary documentary about a strong and fearless woman, motivated by her devotion to non-violence and marching with the Giants for the Dignity of all. The fact that she was so very generous in answering our questions with further insight into her mind and heart was a true gift. I will cherish this experience for the rest of my life

Why do they shut up the woman who wants to ask about Gaza? It's like they are saying 'This isn't the time to bring up a current genocide.' I appreciate that this meeting was about Joan and mental health, but I haven't seen her comment on it at all on social media.
Respectfully, I think it was about respect. The whole point of the movie is about mental health.
Came here from Judas Priest ... ok, not really. But I'm tired of that Bob fellow and really think it's time I checked out Joan's albums. I wasn't around then.
