You deserve more views mate, Knaresborough is not too far from where im from, lovely place, deserves to be seen in the summer sun, a lot of history in the place as well, there is a record of a hunting lodge in the gorge in the doomsday book a millennia ago

I heard the little girl saying "There's more than a hundred steps there" when you were filming from the top. She's right: I've counted them on every visit since I was a kid (I'm 63 now,) and there's always been 119. It just seems a habit these days, if I'm alone on a visit to Knaresbourough, I'll always count the steps on my way up from the riverside. Silly really: I don't ever expect the count to change!

When I used to come here as a boy (after the war!) all the boats were punts. Is the river still full of tiddlers (minnows)?
