1:18:08 damien's reaction to fernie's speech about naming the castle "the gunthar" brings me SUCH joy, i can't imagine how exciting it must be to be a DM for the first time ever and have one of your players name something after one of your NPCS that gave them guidance to where they are now. especially the close up at 1:18:20

@@gfitzbiggie They, Smosh, put up a community note on Smosh Games saying they got busy with other videos, so they didn't have the time to give the show the care that it deserves and postponed it due to that. I've also read that Damien had covid at some point and has been very busy in December, and he is the most important person when it comes to Sword AF, so that may also have played a part in it. But at least it means Season 2 won't come right after Anthony's Funeral without any promotion leading up to it

when I first watched the part where gunthar showed up out of nowhere and tried to discourage them from killing the mimic I was thinking like "they're up in the air so it would be very difficult if not impossible for him to get there, and they're surrounded by things that shapeshift, its obviously a mimic pretending to be gunthar to manipulate them into sparing it" and started to get a lil frustrated with the cast cause it seemed so clear to me but then when it turned out that it actually was gunthar I felt like a dummy
