They made a Brusier and slapped the word TANK onto him. If a Tank needs multiple dashes and access to % Max HP *and* True Damage, to be viable, he’s designed poorly.

Try support K’Sante. He’s a Tank with no dmg but cc, who still has great utility in objective team fights, actually making him a decent support.

This guy has a pretty cool build path. Pick that one mythic that gives you resistances for each legendary, then build black cleaver, Shojin, Titanic, Seracks Gage and other hp/ad items. seems to be the design philosophy.
Yeah, I feel like this guy will love black cleaver. Lots of tiny hits to shred armor.

Nah those are all HP items. You want resistances with HP to scale his abilities. Titanic would probably be the only flat HP / AD item. Gargoyle Stoneplate will be god tier on this champ.
@@Drakkle you realize there's a mythic that gives 5 armor and magic resistance for each other completed? Meaning he'll get 20 of each, combined with base stats, runes and the mythic he'll be at 190 with the build I outlined.
@@SFHFWill Yeah that's Sunfire right? On paper I would still think your abilities would benefit from maxing resistances but then I guess if you're running Lethal Tempo then flat AD might be better for your autos. Hard to say without getting our hands on it, but honestly I'm open to all build paths. I lean towards heavy tank builds myself so I'll probably try a resistance only build first.

@@beegyoshi1685 You do tough? the entire point of the ultimate is to pull someone out of a fight to 1v1 them or force a 2v1 or more, mainly a repositioning tool that can be used to your teams advantage while actually giving the build if you dis build Resistance (Wich also increases his omnivamp, where it would be the only case where i think Ravenous Hydra would work for him)
If the Values are indeed too low then they will buff him accordingly

I think it would be fine if you couldn’t get stacks from minions and camps. There’s no risk when u can just farm it up back to full. Mejais was balanced bc u had to put urself in danger to get stacks and losing them made the item worthless
His AD scaling is really bad so pure AD items make no sense on him

The Q does not suck. It is applying your passive mark for decent damage on your auto. The Q enables the good damage on auto . This means Q's value is two attacks worth by way of passive.
I noticed something strange in his kit. His passive when going all out gives more of the mark dmg based on a percentage of your armor and mr. This percentage scales off of how much ad you have although no where does it say this. meaning going bruiser makes your all out dmg very high. specifically high armor and mr items and ad
I think the trick to playing K'Sante as full tank would be to stack as much armor and MR as possible (like 400 each) so that when you ult at below 50% hp you would gain a shit ton of AD and Omnivamp without building any damage while still having Bruiser levels of armor and MR
That definitely seems to be the intention behind him, but that would take ages to scale wouldn't it? I'm thinking this is a bit of an ad vs ap kayle situation where one build is outright better while the other spikes much faster

That and Tanks always build Ability haste, its not abnormal for them to have like 80+ Ability haste mid game
@@rivy-lurk-869 why would they(specially in high elo) waste any cooldowns on you? You're not a threat in the slightest, they can just back away and wait for your W to end and then ignore you after your W ends, since you are beating them with a feathery pillow
It's not like a mundo, where he doesn't have any cc, but if you let him get to the ADC, he'll beat your adc up
i feel like stone plate would be a good 3rd or 4th item give the resistance for the ult ratio and use shield when you ult to protect you lost of health

Stoneplate gives a shield scaling off max health. His ult cuts his max HP in half.

i looked at the number. you don't actually lose current hp. it sets your max hp cap at 55%. I'm thinking you can use his Ult like Lee Sin Ult, so he stays on the flank.
I'd really like to see a full tank video once his meta build is set, I feel the concept is really interesting!

Idk I feel like last game when you went tank you didn't go much armor or mr until later, and most of his abilities scale with that. You went Ironheart or whatever it's called which just gives a butt ton of health. I feel like he could still be good as a tank, although I think conqueror was the right rune choice.

40:14 Garen seem like a verry good counter to K'Sante, it takes away his resistances (thus reducing the damage as well), he silence him, Garen ult counters K'Sante a lot (since he does true damage depending on missing health, and K'Sante cuts his life in half)

I imagine Cho'Gath would do well into K'Sante as well, between the silence, the knockup, and the slow he really doesn't get much time to use the boosted abilities during ult. Plus, reducing your resistances and health vs Cho'Gath just seems like a bad idea.
Zwags PBE videos always look so much more fun, im guessing its customs with all being viewers and people are so nice to each other and actually having fun limit testing and seeing the new champ

Maybe a shojin build, to convert the atk damage from your ult into more haste and also get goredrinker and ravenous for a LOT of healing or sth like that
I believe you always have to go for a Sheen mythic. Be Triforce or the new Iceborn Gauntlet, the passive and Q low CD enables you to make use of it
From there you can go full Tank or Bruiser. By ulting you can either transform from Tank to Bruiser or from Bruiser to Assassin
We have to keep in mind that even if we lose stats, we don't lose passives. Like how we can keep DD's Anti burst or Randuin's/Frozen Heart flat damage reduction
And if you build assasin you become a Mage

New ravenous hydra seems great on his bruiser build as he gets omnivamp when ults, you should give it a try

8:31 you can cancel your ult at any time while it's active by pressing R again in order to regain your resistances and also increase your max hp cap by 45% again (but you won't instantly heal up to max hp though, you only increase your max hp cap to it's normal state again). Can be usefull in teamfights when you're getting low to bait enemies into thinking they can kill you but suddenly you're tanky again. Should also always be used in fountain so you can regen to full hp.
I think the best items he can utilize are items that give both resistances and AD such as Death's Dance, Maw of Malmortius, Wit's End etc. I also think Hullbreaker is broken on him but at the same time he has a lot of teamfight power so don't know if it's a good idea to buy it if you want to group a lot.

his kit reminds me of "hybrid syndrome" back in the day i.e. old warwick, sion, jax, kayle
in the full tank video you had some crazy 30% Omivamp ( scaling with resistances) but no damage to heal off of whereas with the bruiser you have like 17% with more damage
almost like "a jack of all trades master of none" champ; at this rate going spirit visage will amp the shields and omivamp
you're basically an engage tank like Rell with the opposite ability traits

Zwag every time i see a video and I hear the starcraft and starcraft brood war music in the background I think I'm going fucking insane man. My childhood haunts me and Its just so damn faint in your videos but it always brings me back. Also for K'Sante. Apparently going full up into resistances is a really interesting build, because if you work strictly on his passive dealing damage, you annihilate people.

I wonder if a decent idea is going the new mythic that gives you health after the demolish procs on champions, take grasp, then go for the highest resistance items. Rely on health from mythic, and get as many resistances as possible. No clue if it would work

the thing is, the tooltip for the ult might be a bit misleading, it seems to reduce the max HP by 40% but it does not consume any HP if your HP when you cast is lower than 60%. That make it far more managable than I expected. At least when he ulted Kayne at 5 min he did not seem to sacrifice any HP
Exactly. The ult reduces his max HP cap by 45% which means that you will always end up at 65% hp no matter if you have 100%, 72% or 66% hp currently. If you use it below 65% you don't lose anything at all. The best way to use it is to not use it immediately in a fight but rather wait a bit so you tank more damage with your resistances and then ult when you're at about 65% hp. This is why stacking HP on him is not a good idea since the more HP you have the more you will lose if you ult early, and thus negating your HP stacking. Resistances and AD is the way to go with him.

only one is belveth and zeri of the new champs, but zeri is just extend duration which is what they changed for some mini reqorks like swain and olaf

from the last 11 champions they released, 6 of them had resets, 4 of those being on the ult
on 10 year of league they released the following champs with ult reset(some of those didnt even had resets until recently)
Yi, katarina, darius, aatrox, pyke, swain, ahri, olaf and (the 4 champions above)
So, in less than 2 years they released 50% of the amount of champions with ult resets they released in the other 10 years of the existence of the game. Dont forget that swain, olaf and ahri got their resets last year too, this tips the balance to 5/7, meaning around 60% of the champions with ult reset came to the game in the last 12% of the game's lifespan

K’sante loves ramping, I suspect his best build is gonna end up being sunfire cleaver with conq, simply because you can stack them up in tank form then go morbius mode with all the free stats

K'Sante is a "tank" Riven.
Is a tank because almost all his abilities scales with Armor, MR and Health. And the W "blocks" damage. Then you use R he become a bruiser than drain health from his victims.
He has good teamfights, the E gains range towards teammates and shield them (already saw him as support)
that was my first thought, the items that are offense and defense, death dance, guardian angel.... and so many tanky bruisers are AP but hes AD hes a lot like Vi or Sett in that way. He could be gross with the reverted / sheen Gauntlet. It will have spell sword sheen proc.
would a blood thirster be good on him in a build? his ult has omnivamp, and it would offset the sacrifice a little bit more making you live a little longer?

Run Chemtank.
Aftershock is free damage and increases all abilities that scales with armor and MR and will give you extra damage at lvl 1. The rest of the Resolve tree is self explanatory.
Sudden Impact because he is a tank assassin with dashes in E and R. This will give you more damage and will cause Aftershock, Shield Bash, and Chemtank to do more damage.
Chemtank is for free damage and gap-closing, especially when you use R and they try and run away.
I'm thinking that q pull would work well with Taliah's minefield or Veigar's cage resulting in a good stun. Maybe like a tank/bruiser support?
OOO ZWAG maybe try warmogs!! that way after a fight u can recover while out of combat and are ready to continue fighting without having to base due to not having omni vamp/lifesteal
I would imagine pro plays will use Ksante as support. Maybe next year we will see him on championship.

I wonder how a muramana would work on him. All of his quick CD abilities would probably add a lot of damage. Fimbul would be a lot of shielding, but not during ult since the Q doesn’t slow.
if you have iceborn, you would have a very low cooldown slow
bork and his passive seems to be a good combo.
I think steraks gage is going to be good with him because when you ult you are pretty much going to be at the health threshold to get the shield

Try Vladimir with the infinite scaling health item I was just fooling around earlier with it adaptive helm deathcap these all scale with each other and his passive could go sunfire and just burn people or titanic and gets aton of ad .

I think that for tank K'sante Best mythic would be the Icathian... something. Passive armor and mr + active hp succing at max stacks... Hes champ that likes long fights so... Concider this next time Zwag.
