Xanadu was the name I was thinking of for the boat I'm building. I guess I'll have to pick a different RUSH song now. Rush is the best. Love Xanadu when I'm tripping. Usually have a whole rush segment on my trip Playlist. Tripping without rush is like no doors or pink floyd it's plain wrong. Could be about the film but I doubt it.
Dude, you guys are awesome! there is one thing I really dislike about sailing channels…I wish people would tell tell viewers wind speed, wave height etc. not just “expecting light winds” or “we are sailing in large seas and strong winds”. I want the full log people! Haha! Fair winds you guys! Keep up the great content.⛵️

I just bought a sailboat and excited & I can’t wait to get out sailing.
I love the layout of your Niagra. It's far more interesting than the typical interior with separated spaces and too much space given to the v-berth for my sensibilities and purposes. I looked for larger Niagara's online, but haven't found anything longer than the 35. I was hoping for a fuller aft cabin. Your boat is truly unique. I may move north to Oregon. Although, your boat will probably be gone by the time that happens. I would love to live on a boat like yours, and eventually sail it south. Alas, I will have to wait.

Who doesn't like Coffee! Whew!
I hate to be the bearer of sad tidings...but, no matter how the vessel is equipped, you have about a 15k to 20k boat there. While you are in The Sea of Cortez, check out any of the Marina Seca locations, there are plenty of old boats in permanent storage that will never see water again. Fair Winds!!
Chris this is a well equipped boat and would be great if someone picks it up before it ages in Mexico. Might sell better if you bash back up to Vancouver. Or tack out to Hawaii and then back. It’s what I did when I decided to sell my boat and I was in Mexico. Plus Hawaii is a great place to visit by sailboat.

Did you guys get a temporary import permit (TIP) for Mexico? Remember, you will have to cancel it before selling it to the next owner.
Wait! you guys are from Kelowna?! I live in Kelowna! I've been watching a bunch of sailing videos lately especially "Sailing La Vagabonde" and then this video popped up in my recommended. Small world! Wish you guys all the best in your sailing adventures! Definitely my dream to learn to sail and go on my own adventure someday!

It's sad your had to race through the USA. Enjoy Mexico / Baja... With Google it ALL is so easy today. When I started cruising in the 1970s we actually had to learn everything the hard way, with our brains in full gear. I can not believe how easy EVERYTHING is today, just a click away, video phones etc... and still people get it wrong :-0

most ports you will have to get approval to leave the country you are in. permission to enter, permission to leave that is the way it works. : ) peace

FYI all countries that you check into you need to check out of most require visa 's and payment some smaller islands hold your passports & you need to check out where you check in you need to check in even if you don't step foot on land & are not in international waters. You need to fly the yellow "Q flag" all countries are different . Get a good cruisers guide .

Linden stay with what you like coffee has nothing to do with being an adult. Children drink coffee, psychological there's caffeine in hot chocolate . Also worried about you not knowing much about cruising different than knowing about sailing . Some very good sailor's don't know about cruising, learn about length of stay on travel visa's, local customs,where you can check in & out of, customs office,immigration,port authority,some times different buildings different times, travel advisory, pirates, crime theft, worried about the two of you getting into trouble
