But I do have one question though. Do you have any other hairstyle suggestions? More so for curly hair? Because in my family dreads is a big no, even my brother (got his own house and everything, not even 26 yet) and they're still on his ass for even having remotely long hair

If you want dreads go for it...I promise you if you don't go for the hair you really want you'll regret it when your older..my family also had a hard time accepting my dreads..but i had to be a man and tell them its my body and im keeping my dreads

As you grow older you have to make your own decisions, but as long as your in your parents household make sure that your performance, School work (depending on your age), and ambition to be great outweigh any hairstyle if you see what I'm saying. Your parents may seem upset at first, but if they can see that their son is heading in the right direction, they couldn't be more happy. I started getting tattoos, ear piercings, and all of that. Yea they hated it but I also started creating my own business and everything. Now That I'm a bit established and can give back, they could care less about locs or anything.
