I can see that instant drop getting nerfed, seems more like a bug to me and not an intended mechanic.
Yeah it’s decently likely, but bunny hopping was also a bug and that took 3 games to patch lol. That being said they seem more on top of it this time around so we shall see how long it lasts...

everything is unintended, people will just not stop to look for a way to exploit the movements to get an advantage. So if they happen to nerf it, they will still just find another way to find crazy movements. It's just how it is.

I inverted hold to slide to tap to dive. Im just bunny hopping around the map to substitute slide cancel habit. Then delphine diving makes bunny hoppying around fun haha
For slide canceling around corners I turned my slide to hold r3 and if you look left or right around a corner u can move ur left stick in the direction u come from, and ads same time, cancels ur slide but u need timing for hitting the corner

One thing you forgot to mention that has been in every cod since advanced warfare.
You get a slight speed boost from sliding off of a ledge, it's not a lot and has been lowered over time but it lets you get to power spots very slightly faster which can be very useful when used in tandem with other tech you showed in the video.

Diving off ledges also launches the sh*t out of you so definitely worth it sometimes, like when escaping

Something I like to do is dolphin dive right after jumping...
I use it a lot for escaping or peaking... What you do jump to a corner, turn to look around the corner and then dive around it.
Jump out of cover, peaking at the same time, then dolphin dive back into cover...
Or jumping back to cover to reload.
Granted I play warzone mobile, but the movements are identical...
Also can I just say that this video covers almost everything and I was able to purge a lot of videos from one of my playlists
Dolphin diving resets your tac sprint as well and if you ads as your landing and spam jump you can start sprinting faster. I beat people all the time in invasion doing this lol

By the time you slide swap weapon ads and jump the animation is done and you would be able to ads shoot towards the end of that slide anyway, not sure why people are trying to promote button pressing for a slide cancel your not canceling the slide animation and your not refreshing the tactical sprint two things that are needed to actually “slide cancel” now “slide cancellation” is taping the melee button when tactical sprinting now it doesn’t have anything to do with sliding or cancellation off the slide but it does what canceling the slide did in the previous game which is for refreshing the tactical sprint. Stop promoting slide cancel like it’s a thing it’s not and u would be able to add and shoot towards the end of the slide regardless of button combo you think is helping
Excellent guide man, just another tip, I find this easier with the instant Drop shot, there is a slightly different way of doing it which is easier. You just press crouch and ADS simultaneously and you just let go of left thumb stick for a quick second for the drop shot to happen, after that you just finish the kill! :) You also need to be in tac sprint obviously, but it takes out the pull down with left thumb stick

Hey I see you using a ps4 controller, do you use anything like kontrol freek thumb sticks or some like that ?
I do use kontrol freaks I have a tall domed one on my right stick, it’s not necessary but I’ve used it for years and find it more comfortable.

Most of the movement should be the same on kbm although it will be harder to copy as I’m explaining them for controller. I hope you get something out of the video none the less!
Melee IG still gives us unlimited tac sprint too
Although I utilize drop shot often be careful because it puts you head first sonic you don’t get first shots it could end badly

You forgot mid-gunfight bunnyhop - this is often best executed backwards to get stronger Aim Assist in head-on gunfights.

Great guide, gave me hope for the movement in this game! Question: when I do the slide cancel (version 2) my character always jumps at the end of it or remains crouched. Don't know what I'm doing wrong!
I’m glad to hear that! When doing the second slide cancel try sliding a little longer before you hit jump rather than jumping immediately after. If you hit jump too fast instead of standing you up it might make you jump. I hope that helps and once again thank you for the kind words!

Yes you seem to be able to do it on kbm, you just need to make sure that your slide and dive inputs are shared (kbm settings under gamplay) and follow this video that I found. It’s essentially the same as controller but might be easier to follow someone doing it on kbm czcams.com/video/tWZ9De588T0/video.html essentially sprint forward, hold your slide/dive button and then hold s. I hope that helps a little!

Could you explain the sprint snaking more? Is it 1)prone 2)tac sprint 3)press & hold crouch 4) tach sprint? Or is it 1)prone 2)tac sprint 3)repeat? Because when I do either my guy does not tac sprint he just stays prone or crouched
Essentially you are going prone once you are fully prone letting go of your prone button (circle on PlayStation) then clicking in your left analog stick (or sprint key on kbm) which should cause your character to stand up, once you can see over the cover you hold prone again and repeat. Make sure you let go of prone before attempting to sprint so your character wil actually get back up. I hope that makes more sense, but if your still having issues I’ll find another way to explain it!
@@IronSpiderGaming assuming I have tac sprint turned on I should be able to just lay prone by holding crouch, tap up to tac sprint, then just hold crouch to prone, tap up to tac sprint over and over?
@@dove187 pretty much, but make sure that you are clicking in your left analog stick so you stand up, even if you have auto tac sprint you won’t stand back up unless you click in your left stick and make sure once you are prone to let go of your crouch button so you can stand back up.

for the slide cancel there is a much more easier version were you just have to slide, re-press slide, wait for being crouch and jump (at the frame perfect, it's a big deal), and I think i'll a vidéo about it.

Most of the movement tech in the video should work exactly the same on kbm. That being said to get the slide cancel to work properly I would try using the first version as depending on what you have your swap weapon mapped to it may be slightly more awkward to use the second version. Other than that the only movement I’m unsure how to easily recreate on kbm would be the “instant dropshot” shown at 03:16 . I was able to find this video: czcams.com/video/tWZ9De588T0/video.html which is shows how to do it on kbm but as I’m not a kbm main I’m unsure of how helpful this is! That being said the rest of the movement mechanics should work just fine on kbm with some practice and I wish you luck with perfecting them! Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

The slide canceling with the Semtex method not featured in video) is the fastest but requires you to hoard your grenade
@@c_l_a_d_d_i_x yeah I hadn’t come across that version until I had finished the video and when it’s performed correctly it does look effective, but that being said you have to have a Semtex and you can’t use the Semtex which does put it a little down in my books. Although I do think it’s well worth learning as there are many videos featuring it out there.

Thank you for giving out these tips some players might use them a lot. But I dont like this stupid ass movement which ruined the game for many ppl. I just start firing at a tryhard and wont hit a single shot because of him sliding on dry ground like it was ice and killing me from the back this is what makes the lobbies sweaty as hell, all casuals left already. Why are you spamming YY when you're running? Isn't that another way to reset tac sprint if you have auto sprint on?
It’s just a habit, it doesn’t really do anything to help in this game that I know of. In older Cods it could be used to cancel a reload or in even older Cods ads faster with heavier/slower guns but in this game it’s just for fun.

@@thurlmatt hey we have multiple devs, leave Infinity ward to the realism and yall can have Treyarch and the other one, everyone goes home happy, we dont need to force every developer to make the same game with slight adjustments. i play MW for the realism and fast ttk, i like SBMM, been playing Cod online since the xbox 360 and COD 4, ive seen it all come and go and evolve, so far MW2 is the best COD ive played since the last MW2 on 360.

This movement is sooo easy on kbm. Been doing this and winning a lot of gunfights against controllers mostly. I can’t really outplay pc players their aim is a little better.
Slide canceling was always to refresh tac sprint which it doesn't do anymore so it's pointless
I agree to an extent, but even in vanguard where there was a delay until it would refresh your tac sprint it was used because of how powerful slidecanceling was offensively. That being said it is no where near as strong in this game but it’s still useful in specific, albeit niche situations as shown in the video.

Dolphin Diving resets tax-sprint is faster
You say strafe in the opposite direction you jump from corners, but @9:52 you're strafing in the same direction you jumped from. You jumped from the right. Shouldn't you be moving toward the left not the right then?
It’s more of a general rule of thumb rather than something you have to do the exact same way everytime. The idea is whenever you challenge a corner you should immediately start strafing towards the closest piece of cover which is usually where you just came from. I also find it helps throw of peoples aim as it can take people a moment to react to the direction shift. Hope that makes a little more sense. Essentially you are jump challing and then strafing back into cover which is usually where you came from.

All of the movement mechanics in this video seem to work the same way after patch, although I haven’t been able to test the “instant dropshot” so am unsure if it caught a nerf since the update.

All these guides are why games get so cookie cutter in just a few days now everyone plays the same as a “selected vid on CZcams “
I agree to the extent that it speeds up that process, but with that being said in a game where the skillgap has been crushed to the point where it’s almost non existent good players have to play very similar as the developers have made it clear that catering to multiple playstyles isn’t really their thing. This is why most people will play in a “cookie cutter” style as it’s the only playstyle that really works. With all that being said I can see the argument that CZcams speeds up that process but it’s really the job of the developers to cater to player choice and increase the diversity of viable in game tactics.
