Even know, Jordan Rios has the 1980 WCI Home Video VHS, which is a extremely rare.

I've seen VHS Copies of this film plastered with the Shield of Staleness WB Logo (with the Warner Communications Byline). So judging by this particular release, it seems the original logo wasn't plastered until the Mid to Late 80s at least.

You know I've never seen Superman The Movie but I do know about the opening credits and the John Williams Superman theme which are both just awesome and it's unfortunate that the picture quality has been butchered
