It's amazing how the actor creats a person so real that you fall for the character,not the actor who gave him life. Rafe is such a real person,...almost.
Responding to this a year later my bad but I wanted to say that I think what he has is Borderline Personality Disorder. I have it and I relate to rafe so that's what I think is going on with him. He really deserves better.
