Nice. I know a person, a friend of mine, who bought a brand new 1994 Chrysler Concorde in 1994. It was a very nice car, very similar to this one, and he loved it. It had that strong 3.5 V6 too. By the way, too bad you didn't cranck up the engine in this video.
What an incredible find! Great color, great condition, great car! I am an enthusiast of the LH cars (this is one of them) and it's one of if not the best example of a first gen LHS i've ever seen!
Has a 94 LHS which was my first Chrysler vehicle (I grew up a GM girl). We loved it, it was so roomy, comfortable, and dependable. We drove it to 250,000 miles and then sold it.
What a great car man! My parents drove a 97 Dodge Intrepid with a 3,5 V6 engine which was basically a simpler version of what you have here. These were damn good cars back in the day. Finding one in this condition is great luck.
Beautiful car and color combination. Those leather seats are gorgeous. A Tom Gale masterpiece, my Dad and Mom had the LHS model, which this one looks like.
Other differences between your New Yorker and the US model. The leather seat type you have were only available in the LHS model in the States. The US New Yorker had leather, but different style. Also, the US New Yorker only had the column gear selector, not the center console selector like yours. Basically, your New Yorker is the US version of the Chrysler LHS.
@@bobmac1970 Which is hilarious because the LHS in the States supposedly had a more “European” design whereas the New Yorker had a more traditional American feel…at least according to Chrysler.
Man watching your video (and being banned on facebook ,got here from our group lol) I gotta ask wtf is new in my 300M ....everything in your car is in the newer 300M. Damn they stopped adding new crap back in the 90s I see. Also European 300Ms have the same back fog light. I never figured out how is the wiring on the american 300Ms or what lightbulbs do what to make my 300M more american. Its crazy how similar these cars are. Beside me you are the first person that says that they worked to keep US cars out of Europe....man you have no idea how many times I said that, they did it through taxes and made up rules. This is why I always convert my american cars back to US spec .Thank goodness I'm not crazy after all lol
You live in K'Town? I live at the Mosel Area ,not far away from the ex Afb Hahn I own a 1994 Chrysler LHS ( US Model ) and soon a 1995 Chrysler New Yorker ( Europe / German Model) Don't forget: if the Timing Belt burst ,its no Problem,Just change it,and you can continue to drive The Engine is a so called freerunner. My 1994 LHS have a 6 CD changer in the Trunk The 1995 doesnt have that
Because of the age, I changed everything. New Water pump, timing belt, transmission fluid, differential fluid, brake fluid, and coolant. The mileage is so low, that I only want to drive on sunny days! 😅
Lol! Thankfully they weren't! I replaced the Becker Radio with the original, and found that they had properly gotten a plug and play kit...so no cut cables. All original now!
My first car.
I loved it! These cars were incredibly comfortable!
I'm quietly envious... 🙂
They're abolutely awesome....on a straight road 😄
@@bobmac1970just slow down. These are cruisers, not racers... 😉
@@MVONDRUSKA Lol! You are absolutely correct!

These were so roomy! The front dual seats were extra comfortable and the rear compartment was so comfy.
Absolutely! Very pleasant car to cruise in.

I couldn't believe it when we pulled it out of the previous owners garage! These seem to be somewhat forgotten cars...the 90's in general.
@@bobmac1970 I think so too. They’re a rare find to have one in the us in this condition. Having a Euro version is arguably way more special.

If properly cared for, the engines were bullit proof. Transmissions are another story.
beautiful car.

The comfort just seems much better than most cars today. Thanks!
Man im jealous. I love the old cars like that. Owned Town Cars and Thunderbird's for years.
Check out 'Curious Cars'. He's constantly got interesting 90's sweetness cars
i wish i could have that car again. i used to have that in saudi arabia. too bad not sold in the phils
They were really nice cruisers for their time!
Love those cars
Beautiful car and color combination. Those leather seats are gorgeous. A Tom Gale masterpiece, my Dad and Mom had the LHS model, which this one looks like.
That is a one in a million find. There are very few of the US spec cars left, let alone a euro spec model with that kind of mileage. Wow.
Wonderful car man
Really hard to find one in good condition
Great find! I own exact same car, only 320 000 km on the clock. But still, drives and handles very nice.
Nice! They seem pretty bulletproof if cared for properly
Great video and content. I learned more about these than I even though I did. Thank you!!
I love it. I think I'm jealous

This is very true. I think they used 'New Yorker' naming as LHS naming wouldn't have been as impressive in Europe.

Because we always want what we don't have, and this each side of the ocean..😉
My dad used to drive one that these until 2015 it was a 1997 and in red
God I miss this car one of the most comfortable cars I have ever been in
That’s an OTIS: overhead trip information system.
Perfect adult sedan.
My mom still has her 96 LHS (black) that she bought used in '98. It's off the road unfortunately
Love it ////////////////
The American New Yorker didn’t have those rear head rests. I believe that’s yet another Euro spec feature!
Nice catch. I didn’t even realize that!
👍
I have a 1992 Chrysler New Yorker 89,000 miles I bought it the car from a friend wjo parents died. This car has not been be driven in 8 yrs
Make sure to change all fluids

I’m close to purchasing a white 96 LHS with 57 original miles. One owner. Little old lady. This video and comments section have been great. Thanks.
Transmission fluid and filter were changed?
Yup...it actually has a filter and transmission fluid😄
6:51 do you not have a trunk release in the glovebox?
Of course it has the button, but I was demonstrating the difference between US and German spec fobs, not what the trunk opening options are.
If it's ever on sale let me know
Unfortunately I recently sold it...😟
Looks like the prior owner was a “butcher” by the looks of the radio installation. Otherwise a very nice NY.

@@bobmac1970well done. Keep it original.
I had a 94 LHS the only thing I don't like about this models is the FWD, this cars need a V8-RWD...
If this thing had RWD and a V-8 it would be the perfect car! Looks way better than the 90's Impala SS...just missing the punch
Imagine dropping a hemi in this?!
wow thats no Kcar
Nope. They took a chance and changed everything. An automotive revolution.
Germans? What do the Germans have to do with this car?????
Because of German regulations minor changes had to be made to imported cars...therefore the differences in German delivered Chryslers.
