JJRacaza's wisdom on Positions, Transitions and Dead Space

JJ Racaza, arguably the #1 Sports Shooter in the world.....gave us insight into dissecting the Course to out-strategize the other competitors. Also interesting is the analogy to video game and score penalties for "No action while moving". Dead Space must be converted to Scoring Space. No wonder the younger shooters are running while gunning, X-Box taught them this technique. Atari just taught us how to stand still and shoot Space Invaders and Asteroids.

If you ever have the opportunity to train with JJ Racaza ...seize it !!! Watching his match videos or this little snip-it is nothing compared to being there "live". He presents a concept, creates a drill, critiques you on the drill (in a motivating way), sets up a scenario (compilation of the drills) and then has you perform. This is where i all happens...He will watch and comment, ask you to redo, watch and comments, redo etc until he feels he built enough muscle memory for you to take it back to your own training. BTW: That is not some new firearm in his hand,... it"s a New Jersey "Italian Hoagie" (amora de gabbagul wit cheese). He took 2 bites, calculated the calories and used it as a prop for the rest of the day.
