The lyric was written by herself. Is an inspiration about an Armenian tradition on Valentine's Day (that is called Saint Sarkis, it's their own valentine's Day).

Armenia is the second semifinal so they'll for sure make it to the final. Brunette herself after leaving the girl group did release some solo R&B and rap songs, so the rap break is up her ally (and she can rap live). The song is about wanting to have a lover you can do cute things with, but being lonely and restless. Having high expectations for yourself but not being able to meet them and having anxiety and panic attacks as a result. So instead of trying to force anything, just trying to be the best you you can be. So you without knowing the lyrics being able to identify that this song is supposed to be empowering is neat.

Regarding the lyrics: the "rap" part is about the stormy present, not being able to relax, pain, panic attacks, etc. The rest of the song is about the dreamy future. The two are getting reflected in music register by contrasting the harsher rap section and softer sweeter symphonic one. Its really well throught out. That's the story in the song.

Armenia is performing second in the second semifinal. It´s historically a very bad spot, but I think that she´ll get through. For some reason the lyrics in the chorus "I decide to be good, do good, look good." rub me a little bit in the wrong way. Feels like she´s putting too much preasure on herself and the future relationship. There comes an old fashioned vibe of a woman having to please her man and as a modern man it feels awkward to me. It actually feels like an opposite to her drinking smoothies in the cafe´with her future lover. Or is she questioning her perfection oriented thought pattern and then releasing herself in the rap part, I don´t know. Anyway my biggest concern with this song is the mid-tempo. It´s no problem listening to it, but I don´t know if this kind of a song is the best suited for the Eurovision. The vibe in the song is in finnish viipyilevä.
