White House takes questions on Biden's health in first briefing since debate

- White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre faced a barrage of questions about President Biden's health and his capacity to serve in the first press briefing since his debate against Donald Trump last week. Jean-Pierre flatly said no when asked if Biden had Alzheimer's or dementia, but said the administration understands the concerns about his health and admitted, "The president did not have a great night at the debate."

Can someone please explain to me why they cannot force companies to go back to pre-Covid prices? That's what's killing us. The supply and demand excuse is gone. Not only have the prices gone up but the amounts of the goods have decreased (shrinkflation). Why is no one capable of resolving this issue?
They printed trillions of dollars. And now foreign countries are rejecting the dollar... and other factors. So, dollars are being pushed back home, causing the dollar to lose its buying power. However, wages aren't keeping up with the rate at which the dollar loses value.

I use to love when trump was president and he would hold the press conference and directly speak with the reporters. He had some funny moments clapping back at the relentless amount of reporters attacking him. I always go back to those clips. I miss those days. We get a lot of delivery food, but there's always at least 3-4 months supply of food at home. I've been putting away more money monthly than any other time in the past 15 years. Some grocery prices have come down, and I usually try to stock up on sale items. Gas has reached an acceptable price too, it's under $3 gallon in northern Minnesota where I live. I'm supporting my family of 3 with 4 pets as well, and we're doing fine.
This is the same roller coaster that we've been on for decades. Cause and effect, the republicans give tax cuts for the rich and destroy the economy they inherited. Democrats get back in, and they have to work twice as long and hard to fix the mess that republicans made. Trump rode Obamas economy until he destroyed it with massive tax cuts for the rich. Now we're finally pulling through that mess, those cuts expire next year. Putting trump back in is an absolute guarantee that he will give the super rich a better tax cut than last time, he's already told everyone that he's plans to do it. Tax cuts for the rich is the only promise he's made and delivered upon. Anyone not in the top 1% shouldn't be even considering trump on that alone. Trickle down economics did not work when Reagan was president, and it won't work now. They're just pizzing on us without even the slightest courtesy of calling it rain. I'm not rich by any means, I do ok all things considered. I will never be rich enough to vote republican in my lifetime.
