i’ve been playing the P3NY Parlor guitar for three years. I play with my fingers and this guitar responds to every nuance. I love it. Highly recommended for a home recording studios.
I know the G series guitars weren't expensive, but I've had my EG330 for over 20 years and it has begun to have that ring in the past few years. I use Elixer 80/20 and they are 10s. Plays wonderful!!
Guys I am visually impaired blind, the second guitar that he plays, is that the one that cost $2800, is that the one with Adirondack spruce top, the P5 the whiskey brown,
Hey there! The second guitar that is demo'ed in this video is a CP6SSDC in a cherry sunburst and costs $2899. Link to the guitar: ish.guitars/collections/new/products/takamine-cp6ssdc-singlecut-dreadnought-gloss-cherry-sunburst
@@ishguitars I have the P3NY and I have been playing it for about 3 years now and it has opened up so much and the wood even changed colour because it’s a solid guitar with a satin finish, it went from being a$2,000 guitar to a $5.000 guitar in my opinion, and I’m still looking forward to it opening up even more.
Laminate is one thing . Layered is better . So the cheap are laminate. The 114 , 214 , Taylor for example , they are layered. This takamine has to be layered . It’s mean wood and laminate together . This guy has to do her assignment better 😮
Again I’m blind, I like the sound of the second guitar, just want to know if that’s the one for 2899, the Adirondack Sprucetop, and what’s the length on the neck and that one,
===== WOW! Takamine is copying Lowden guitars? WOW? It has the split saddle bridge and the pin less bridge design also pioneered by George Lowden. I would love for you guys to do a head to head comparison with Lowden guitars. You would loose to Lowden guitars every time hands down. Sorry. ====

Takamine makes the BEST live music performing guitar IF it has the CTP cool tube blended with the Takamine Triax 2
i've LR Baggs M80...is the same Takamine Triax 2?
Such underrated guitars
Totally agree, we are super excited to have them!

Man, that little guitar sounds almost like a big one. How they do that?!
That guitar sounds much better with the CTP, its not dialed in right
That P5 in whiskey brown is a beautiful looking guitar. Do they make any of the other pro series in that color?
They make it in a natural finish as well! Amazing guitars.
4:12 Takamine P7 DC its all solid even sides!
Yes you are correct, Jesse misspoke on this, we put in a text correction when we edited the video. Thanks for checking it out!
did you really say "brand new brand"? Takamine has been around since 1962.
Brand new to our shop :)
CP400NYK Is what I like best. Do any of you own this or does anyone still own them
=== Laminate side reduce the build time. === And for how they sound? 80% comes from the top. The rest is from back, sides, and neck. ====
P5dc wb amazing sound

Will you have left handed models?
I’ve got a cedar top ean15
I’ve been on stage with all big name guitars
On stage the Takamine ALWAYS sounds better
What do you recommend for a second PU.
5:57 Good harmonics xDDD
Man this guy with a hat 🧢 was talking pointless things for 5 min, for god sake.

Takamine guitars have had split saddles bridges since the 1960s.
Overrated brand, i played other brands much better in the same price range.
