Divorce, Death and bought my first home all in 2020, it was very stressful year for me. Losing someone who meant the world to me was very hard.
I learned that you should never depend on a person to do everything for you, now that I’ve been at my home for two years I have learned so many lessons and how to fix things on my own. I’ve learned that being alone and rediscovering yourself and experiencing new things in life is priceless. I’m so much happier today!
None of us know what is around the corner....good and not so good. You and your family are so lucky to have each other.
Watching from the future because I didn't know of you prior to your cancer journey and wanted to know a little more about you. I didn't know that your house was once your family home, that's lovely.

We have all been there working all the hours to pay a mortgage. Its hard bringing up a family and missing out because you have to work. Before you know it their grown up and fled. Iv missed out on so much. Myself and hubby worked long and hard for 25 years to pay off the roof over our heads. Time we will never get back

Feel 2020 has taught us to be more aware of life and identify with others' struggles, etc. Feel we will be a more compassionate people as we have all faced so many uncertainties.etc. Dad used to recite a beautiful poem when we were children - in part it says: "...Life is real, life is earnest, the grave is not the goal. Dust thou art to dust returned was not spoken of the soul. Not enjoyment and not sorrow is our destined end or way, but to act that each tomorrow, finds us farther than today.." Poetry speaks so many truths. Blessings.
Beautiful home, you did so well saving and working so hard. The only thing I would have done differently is moved the kitchen to the back of the house so you could have had natural day light flooding in and you could have opened the doors to the garden 😃🌱
I've learnt that change is the only constant and to slow down.

Guided meditation has got me through some tough times, Tiffany, it really relaxes me and gets my mind off of stressful things and allows me to get to sleep.

London wages gives you the opportunities . I live in Wales the wages are poor but we have a quality of life beyond belief. A wonderful place to be born, and brought up and raise my family here!

I think many of us wish to buy a house, but it’s so difficult now when most standard jobs pay 25k and then it’s like how do we save when we have to pay travel costs or other factors. So please please please share with us, how did you buy your first house? How did you save money? Xx
