  • It should be no secret that I'm not afraid to take this bike down some pretty sketchy tracks on road tyres, but I honestly believe that this bike handles itself superbly on uneven surfaces. Even though I crashed today, it proved to me that it took a massive patch of deep powder in the road that I mistook for hard packed clay to upset the bike. And let me add to the fact that I have been riding for less than a year, so I am still an inexperienced rider but I'm not afraid to push the limits of my riding ability.

I came here to bitch about calling that an Adventure bike. But your opening kinda made me rethink that. I won't be owning a CB125F, well probably ever, but if it gets you there, and you're having adventures, that is what it's about. So I guess, thank you. Came here all high and mighty on my Super Tenere, and feel humbled now. Try to keep the rubber side down, and adventure on man. Glad you're okay.

Sorey to see you come off. Video shows you doing 40kmh when it happened and you touched the front brake. Good to know the foot peg protected the motor housing.
As we say in Ulysses, "stay upright my friend."

There was definitely no front brake involved. I even slowed the video down to .25% to get a close look because it happened so fast I honestly couldn't remember!

"I am still an inexperienced rider but I'm not afraid to push the limits of my riding ability" no-one wants to be thought of as a 'bitch' as you put it mate but no need to push so hard so early in your biking career. Take it steady and enjoy for many years to come.

Those skinny tyres are definitely helping that bike, my duke slides the back like crazy with it's humongous 150 rear, still handles dry dirt pretty ok

I figure if the Trail 125 can do it, why not this one?😅 But I think you're right, the skinny tyres make it a bit more forgiving

Nick, your method of straightening RHS foot peg ? I have a method, but would be interested in your method !

I was just going to hit it with a mallet. I have a butane torch if I need to add heat. I haven't even looked at the bike since I parked it yet

      @@NicksBikes
      My method (no heat required)
Remove LHS rear view mirror from handlebar.
Gently, gently lower motorcycle down on its LHS - on soft grass - may want to place couple bath towels between bike & grass, to protect against scratches.
Place pair if stilsons (pipe wrench) preferably 18 inch stilsons - adjust jaws for good 'bite' on the rubber outer surface of peg
What you have now is -- the full weight of m/cycle acting as counter balance - (117 kgs)
Place suitable length of steel pipe over stilsons handle. This will be a vertical configuration setup. With your right foot placed in the underbelly of bike, bend pipe arrangenent towards yourself. - no heat, no flames required. What you think ?

@@kevinbourke4038 I lack wrenches and pipe, but I can see this method working. Except I'd worry about fluids leaking out of the bike being on its side for too long. Having said that, not a drop came from the tank when I crashed and it was full to the brim. I'd only done about 20 k's since filling up.
