Hi, i started playing the game thanks to your video, i wanted to ask if you are using a guide for ascending and talent to pick or stuff like that because i reached a point when i need 1k sp for the talent and it takes me 2 hours of actual playing to farm them so i wanted to know if i was doing something wrong

@@ZaerdinGaming ok Thank, i'm doing pretty much what the guide says but i don't know if it's me but getting sp feels slow every time i ascend the time it's take to get to 1k sp it's the same except if i get a soul multiplayer and a horde

It's the Funky Space upgrade. You'll get it around 1T souls.
also is the desert or factory better Im assuming that the desert is better for souls since you need to UA to see it on your tree and that costs at the least 2mill plus you need Ultra points to even make the UA worth it so it's like getting a cool 7-10mill just for the desert
The desert is better until you unlock Funky Space.
Normally, it's Haunted Castle is less than the Desert which is less than Funky Space.
Much further in the game Funky Space gets displaced, but you need to use the calculator to determine when it does.
What is the key macro you use? i've been using a mouse set up forever which makes it so you can't scroll through menus other than disabling it and been doing that for like 140 days since i started playing and its time to upgrade ;) Hope you dont mind me asking...EDIT: modified mine, sort of a moron when it comes to script stuff, for key usage but its just non stop spam which works for jumping/shoot and boost. Was curious if there was something better specially once i get wind dash.
I play the steam version. By default, it's setup so that space is jump, shift is boost, E is rage. When I'm going through menus, I generally spam space and shift out of habit.
@@ZaerdinGaming Yeah ditto for steam usage. I have the script macro set up through autohotkey for an active play just to boost/jump/shoot all the time of course and one while im afk away at work or sleep just to boost and keep running with no jumping so no chest hunt keys or bonus stages proc and i get locked into those screens. Progress wise, yesterday i just got wind dash and all that done at the village and im about to buy the two 10SP perma. craft upgrades, got victor's soul and those passives on the tree now also and maaaybe during this UA session which is my third to shoot for my first 1 tril. Ill buy everything less than that cost wise in the meantime on the tree. Goddamn i should do videos too heh. When i talk to my wife about this, thank god she loves games as much as me its just now quite the same haha
The thing that i sad about the taveren drinks when you get all those Tavern drinks you use rage mode and please use rage pills with this❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

id say im in a decent spot for just having done my first UA and getting a decent amount of souls ( have just over a quarter of a mill in the corner waitng for me to ascend) ive only had to assend like 3 times to get that much plus ive gotten just under half a mill from my other 2 of 3 assertions this time around so any ways the only thing is im not getting the portal I need to really get the game going but as you can see the bow and the upgrades for it are a stupid amount of OP also can you give me a percentage break down of that minion related souls buff? im kind of disappointed about how much it's giving me (the one based off of what you have left over) but like I said Im not to the point where I can unlock the "good" part of the game and really get things going since Im just not getting the right portal and for sure dont have the 5mill needed to get the good portal

The amount of souls you get from the ultra tree upgrade what's the % it gives you based off what you have left over for missions i hope you better understand now
i would you know asend with the 350k i have on the side atm as it would boost me alot but i feel it would just take way way longer then I want it to to get the new quests unlock if I do do that
Trust me, ascending frequently makes everything faster. You shouldn't really sit on a lot of SP, it will slow you down a lot more than it helps you. Check your total SP in the details and you should ascend every time you have 5 to 10% of that. It's in the options and you'll have to scroll down to find it. The more you ascend, the higher your Souls CpS multiplier goes and the easier it is.
I missed out on like 100k souls from a chest hunt all b/c I didnt hit a 20x ;/ im so annoyed I need the 2nd mimic shield so bad but it's going to be so long to get
It'll be there before you know it. Don't give up hope.
how much money did the wind dash cost?
Per the wiki, it's 1 QD, which is doable once you have the claw unlocked.

You have to keep doing the quests. There's a quest that you'll get to unlock the next item. It may require that you ultra ascend first, though.

In the FAQ I linked, you can find the recommended ascension tier list which goes into detail on when you should be ascending and ultra-ascending. You should ascend when you have 10% more of your total souls.

Make sure to keep ascending and buying upgrades when you can! You'll get there!

I was trying to avoid buying the delta worm upgrade but failed.
I had a quest to kill fire enemies and the best way to do that quest is in Modern City with the gamma worms because I can also farm slime there.

1. Why aren't you using dark divinity for slower bow shooting which gives you 100% or 150% more souls?
2. Why aren't you using spikes and hard mode (4 secs less) for bonus stages? Cuz spikes upgrade normal boxes to silver ones and hard mode gives you more rewards.
1. I've tried it and didn't like it.
2. I have enough trouble clearing the bonus stage normally; however, you do raise a good point, I'm finally at the point in the game where I have enough excess DP that I should turn that option on for the next video. I used to be constrained by DP a lot.

I've heard, I'll try it on the next video and see if I like it. I really wanted to like the slower shots, but whenever I tried it, I killed so little. Maybe I should keep it on for rage mode.
I was waiting until I got the upgrade where the speed ups get rid of the spikes, haha.
