    Can I also use camunda to draw a BMPN from an existing XML, JSON whatever format, if I don't want to use the modeler?

    For the first time when I ran the spring boot application, I could see the process in the cockpit but when I stopped the application and started it again the cockpit doesn't show anymore the process, is there anything I could have missed ?

    What would need to be done to post the model directly from the modeler to the local engine-rest endpoint? Is this not possible in the community edition?

    • @CamundaTeam
      @CamundaTeam  Před 4 lety

      Hey Tim. If the REST API is included in the spring boot project you can deploy the process from the model to the spring boot application via the the localhost:8080/rest/ end point. If you need any clarification, come chat to our Camunda devs and community on the Camunda Forum: forum.camunda.org/

  • @jhonatandariomarinjaramill9519

    how do i run the process modeler in AWS and import them to my spring boot app? I am planning to have a springboot app running in container triggering multiple tasks/processes. Is that possible, or we need one springboot app for each process/process instance? thanks.

    Great tutorial! For a scenario where the camunda engine is embedded in an existing spring web application. How do i change the context path of camunda (i.e. /app) ??

      @@nialldeehan4383 - I'm trying to implement a small POC and even posted a few questions on the forum (Not always helpful). I have a service task connected to inclusive gateway which evaluates and accordingly calls service task but it always throws class not able to load resulting NoClassFoundException. When i refer the docs it is more of a theory (It is like reading a book with very few examples). As a result i'm not able to make the POC upto the mark. youtube videos are scrambled here and there to understand specific examples. It would be helpful if docs are short briefed with good code snippets. default bpmn diagrams only contains small examples but not related to complex gateways etc.. Also camunda is mostly based on XML as per my understanding. It would be helpful if JSON is supported in the same way. Job Executor docs are present but the examples are small to integrate with spring-boot.Request you to provide more code snippets in docs than too much theory (Or) a self-paced course for beginners to explore the APIs.Thanks for the comment.
