Several of the escaped clones are using DC-17Ms so I like to think that those clones were Commandos and just stole them off Imperial Commandos

Don’t get why they had to save those clones. They were only like 50 there.
They're still people regardless. They weren't about to let innocent Clones die, no matter how few they were. Besides, rescuing 40-50 Clones is a good start in my opinion.
This was the most underwhelming turnout possible…
