Got the phone a month ago and I'm still obsessed with it. Seriously amazed by the camera and really happy with its performance and responsiveness. It is a bit chunky and uncomfortable in the hand but really is worth it. Don't regret it at all.

Had the reno 8 pro 2 years now, and have to say, i was very surprised at how well it has performed, has never skipped a beat, great pictures have been taken and has handled some higher end games flawlessly. As you said the battery has never been the best, i managed to get a full day out of it, but when it takes 35 minutes to fully charge, its a minor inconvenience imo. It may be a bit extreme to say you love a phone, but this one is right up there as one the best ive ever owned :)
Bought this phone after watching this review. sky mobile 100gb data is £25 a month absolute bargain. This phone big upgrade from my hawie p20 pro. I love the look of the phone reminds me of my favourite iPhone 4 when 🍏 phones were good. It's very light weight quick and the sound from the speakers are the best I've heard on a phone. Camera is amazing from what I've tested. if you want a price/performance=happy place, this phone is the best right now.
I do wonder how many people will be able to afford to charge their old phones let alone fork out 100s for a new phone these days. Great review as ever Chris.
I'm getting one soon. I like the brand. Decent phones for a decent price. I'm currently using A74 5g. That will be a massive upgrade for myself. I got to point out that I'm not using phones for gaming but mainly photography and work so I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for the review.

The battery lasts up to 24 hrs but it charges full within 35 minutes. There are no glitches in switching apps and multitasking. I also got a free oppo pad claimed from oppo web direct.

I can't get over how fast they're churning these Reno's out?! I originally had the Reno 2, which I loved, so decided to buy the Reno 4 pro (glitter green edition because I bloody loved the colour) and I've only had that a year. I can't believe we're now on the 8?!
Every 6 months. Typing this on the original Reno (1) with the shark fin front facing camera. 3 years deep and still functions perfectly and the battery life is still excellent. I fancy the Reno 8 Pro but there is just no compelling reason for me to change phones.
@@lombardo8 the reason I changed from the Reno 2 to the Reno 4 is because of that shark fin. I was getting worried about the dust and dirt that got into it and thinking that I might break it. They have both been amazing phones. The difference between the two ( and they both have positive and negative points) is that the Reno 2 had a better battery life (but according to the stats it has a smaller battery) but the phone was fairly heavy. The Reno 2 has the option for extra storage too - which I loved! The Reno 4 has a better camera and is lighter. The case that came with it didn't protect my phone enough so I bought a rubbery one that's much better. The battery could be better on the Reno 4 but it can quite comfortably see me through a days usage. I think after this one I'd consider getting another. They have a lot to offer and are a decent price too

An amazing phone for the mid/high end segment, but with this price I think hands down the vivo X80 is a better offer with better chip and better camera. Just my 2 cents

Not sure if you mentioned I might of missed it, but comes with a screen protector and on the back for the cameras also, I had the X5 lite which came with a case also u got a lot of bang for your buck on these OPPO phones, screen protectors as standard and a case depending on what model u buy, the x5 lite also came with a free smart watch that was through Sky though.

This is why I moved from the X5 lite this this phone was not fussed about a head phone jack nor a space for and SD card, just wanted better specs

The brightness on the Reno 8 is worse than the Reno 4 I had. 50% brightness on the Reno 8 is the same as 25% brightness on the Reno 4
