- We set up a Dyno Day for our local car club and it turned out even better & bigger than expected. From a 200hp Camry all the way up to a 1750hp GTR and many in between like Evo VIII/Evo X, Accord X's, Acura RDX and V8's almost touching 1000hp. Even a tiny Ford Fiesta with a big turbo surprising us!

TLX A Spec is same engine and tranny + awd. But honestly, with the custom fabrication and work it would take to make the Accord AWD... at that point I'd just get the TLX 😂 and if I'm getting a TLX it's gonna be the Type S
@@accoRding2Joel that’s true, I know the accord is actually faster than the tlx they did a few races. But now that you put it that way makes me just wanna buy the tlx 4 cylinder and max it out. 6 cylinder would probably make power easier but it would be heavier more expensive to buy as well.

That’s just nuts man. Realistically what does the bone stock 2.0 put to the wheels?. I’ve just started my adventure and have mostly done suspension mods to this point.

So at this point are you maxed out or is there still more room to grow? What’s the next step for your accord if there is one
As far as turbo goes we have a little more left in it, we're on a somewhat conservative tune right now. Could make more power but we are taking it slow. We don't know the limits of the engine so we are walking in the dark. Next step is more fuel system...that will hopefully come first half of the year.

Just like any other engine. We would use Type R aftermarket internal components like rods, pistons, valves, springs & retainers

@@themachine604 i struggled with that decision man. I finally went with the 550 because I cared more for a quicker spool and better powerband than the peak number. I daily drive this car and I don't want to turn it into an uncomfortable car where it stops being fun, reliable and easy to use.

Ur going to blow than engine with stock internals, how do you stop ,I have 6 pistons and 4 piston brembos and still have a hard time stopping on my charger I had the 2018 2.0t accord back then all of this info wasn't available to much money to invest to get a little extra hp so I traded in my accord for the srt392.

Slickfab has turbo mane you can easily make 500.. but you gotta pay to play. $5000. We will see if the j gets any love when the tlx type s comes out. A lot of the civic guys are swapping j in their cars. So the more that gets done the aftermarket demand
