I wanted to express my gratitude for your helpful CZcams demonstration. Your clear instructions made the task much more manageable, and I successfully replaced the component today. While I'm optimistic that the replacement might have resolved the issue, I'm still uncertain if it was the sole cause of my car battery draining when the vehicle sits idle for a few days. Upon recharging the battery, the flashers come on, and I'm unsure if this is related. If you have any further insights or suggestions on troubleshooting this matter, I would greatly appreciate your expertise. Thank you once again for your informative tutorial.
One thing that i did was take apart old hazzard switch and clean off the oxidation on the sensor. That seems to clear up the problem without replacing the switch. You need a really small torx screwdriver to stake apart the switch. Small flathead might work too.
Cadillac did a bad job with making that feature on the car. I had the same problem and the dealership fix it for me. My car would not crank and it went to the deterrent mode. Had to get it fixed color. Gotta do better thanks for the video. Good job.
I just wanna say thank u....would not have even thought about trying to do without you...just got finished mine and getting that switch out of that casing was a mf lol....
Man thank you for the last part of the video I appreciate it. I'm the type of person that this is literally making me feel crazy as I hate when things don't work well and even more I hate not being able to find a middle spot as you have shown. That's a great way to show folks how to get the problem fixed and utilize the vehicle without interruption until that can occur. Best Regards Sincerely
Right on with this video my man! Had the same issue. Did it myself because of you I’m sure I saved a lot. Part itself was $ 138.02 with tax. Sincerely appreciate your direction.
You did an awesome job on your great video! I really enjoyed watching it, and I followed the steps to change mine. Do you happen to have a link where can purchase the glove box switch for a Cadillac XTS 2013? Thank you in advance!

Good day💯 with my research, this hazard light button malfunction issue is due to recall after a few years because of to much sunlight/heat exposer.💯
