Stranded dehydrated & starving in a vast desert, even the most seasoned ARK survivors must quickly find water, hunt for food, harvest, craft items, and build shelter to have any chance for survival. Use skills honed on ARK's faraway Island to kill, tame, breed, and ride the fantastical new creatures that have evolved to survive the Desert's ultra harsh conditions, including... DRAGONS! Travel back and forth between the Island and the Desert to team up with hundreds of players across both worlds or play locally!
EXPLORE A NEW WORLD
Scorched Earth takes ARK players to an entirely new land, composed of six unique, desert themed biomes - dunes, high desert, mountains, canyons, badlands and oasis - each with their own aesthetic and ecosystem. Littered with ruins, geysers, and intricate ancient cave systems, survivors will find a whole new frontier to explore and master.
TAME NEW CREATURES
The biomes of Scorched Earth are filled with dangerous new creatures, and the intrepid survivor will find that many of them can be tamed. Among others, lead a caravan of the camel-like Morellatops, or rain fire down upon your enemies from the back of an elemental Wyvern. Just mind your step, or you might attract a Death Worm!
CRAFT OVER 50 NEW ITEMS
Using what resources they can scrounge together, survivors can craft distinct new outfits and structures to beat the heat, and new tools to help them survive in this desolate environment. Players can use whips, boomerangs, flamethrowers, chainsaws, and much more to defend themselves, or such things as tents, wells, wind turbines, and oil refineries to provide their bases with resources. When used creatively, these tools can open up whole new strategies for survival, self defense or epic tribal warfare.
CONQUER NEW CHALLENGES
Prepare yourself for dangerous electrical storms, blinding sand storms, befuddling heat stroke, and unleash the power of the mysterious Obelisks to come face-to-face with the ARK’s deadliest boss creature to date - the ferocious Manticore! Does it protect a powerful weapon, a precious relic, or the mysteries of the ARK itself? Only survivors who posses the courage to confront this fearsome beast will learn the truth

Put a bed down and carry a parachute!
Also, the Bob’s Tall Tales has a plant pot that allows you to use the shovel to pick up vegetation you like. Could help to get trees and shrubbery closer to the base on your own terms.
I’m curious to see how you flesh this one out!
Like the build man makes me want to do some building.

We built down by the clear pool you looked at, nothing ever dropped from above, also, you’re really close to 2 red loot crates, great build dude

The new base looks awesome! I also live close to that location, 3 loot drops close by. What helped me with removing grass sticking through the foundations, is to whip the foundation. 🙂

I built across from there on the second level so I could look out at the waterfalls. It's the best looking area on this map, hands down.
Yea they look nice
You can use the sickle to chop the grass to prevent it from popping through the foundation.
Yep but I already did that. What was left is part of the ground texture unfortunately
I built my base at the furthest waterfall (the one you don’t like 😅), it is a nice place and the waterfall is really friendly, good at sharing the space with me 😂
I did fall from the cliff while building 🫣😅
I keep thinking I am going to slip and fall. I need to keep one of the Moths in my pocket 😄

I like compact and small but imo four wide would have done the trick. You will see when putting the stuff in😊
Yea will see how much room there is once I get the 2 big tables in there plus the vault
Use the whip to get rid of the small tufts of grass
nice build would have gone abit bigger myself. :)

I have my base on that ridge on a server and the back side of that wall registers as "wilderness" and not the ravine. Keep that in mind for temperature and wind power.

I can’t do the smaller base builds man. I always end up making them bigger than planned. I like the small cozy style I’m just not able to do it lol. Either way looks good. Lots of tweaks to do to it yet.
Yea I am trying super hard to keep the builds smallish. Will see how long that lasts 😄🙈
I done this as an x frame. But the x is too steep. The shallow roof, as i call em, doesn't have a triangle wall that fits. So heres to hoping we can get another addition. Cause I got a kind of modern look going with my airport but ark doesn't have all the pieces. I'd mod em but I need like 284gb for the dev kit. Yikes!
