you can call on 16 for a radio check.

Should not be using channel 16 for radio checks, loads of other channels for that minor request, Always keep channel 16 clear as it could be you needing heard one day.

what if i’m in a trouble and i have no vhf license?? it’s like saying you need to pay to call 999 . the uk are greedy for the money.
