Well its still a melody. Music itself is not haram, rather you maybe have been listening to Haram music thats why.
There are nasheeds and music which talk about the world, sadness, pleasure etc it depends on the genre and themes. Scholars especially the Al Azhar scholars have issued a fatwa that music is allowed as long as its not Haram.
