I don't know if you should be playing Kashtira in Mekk-Knights as they and Girsu are mutually exclusive. Being stuck with a Kashtira on board also prevents you from placing a Mekk Knight in its column to negate. Also, evenly matched might not be the best boardbreaker because it leaves you with only half a column.
Girsu's token effect is more important going first any way, which is not advised to begin with. The pressure Fenrir puts up immediately is really nice going second.

The lvl7 Kashtira monsters are helpful for the knights to go into Big Eye.
