The way I look past the U.S. Agent being taller than Sam Wilson, is that he did take the super soldier serum so that kinda could explain why he looks bigger
They've already confirmed the John Walker "Captain America" has the peg shield type, so the Sam can "take" the shield and it will peg on the back properly
I’d honestly be fine with a smaller BAF character. I know there’s not any BIG characters in the Disney+ shows yet but they had Mantis as the BAF for the GOTG VOL2 wave and she was pretty much the smallest character in the wave. If we’d gotten an Agatha Harkness or a Karli Morganthou or a heck even a Batroc I’d be much happier with that. Just someone else other than the wings would have been nice.
I feel like each wing piece should have had their own hinge in the middle in addition to the hinges that act as connection points with the other pieces. The way it is completely breaks the flow of the curvature when you fold them.

I enjoyed this wave. The thing I want to say I didn't like was because I could not find Loki in stores anywhere, I found Loki to be an easy pass but had no idea that he had the alternate back pack piece the wings actually attach to. I would have thought Sam would have came with that piece but he didn't so it's a good thing I purchased Loki this passed weekend (still waiting for it to come in the mail) thinking it was just for the Red Wing stuff. The figure still looks cool despite pain flaws which I am sure will be with the deluxe release when Hasbro releases it when Captain America 4 is getting ready to come out.
Should have been a deluxe for sure but it would have been cool with just zemo, winter soldier and falcon... nice and small wave with all wing parts, I’d have bought that. Haha

Hasbro really nickel and dimed us with this wave. To fully enjoy the Sam Cap figure, you need the walmart John Walker Cap Shield to peg on his back. We should be able to do both with the included shield...That's 8 figures for what should've been a deluxe release smfh.
I do agree with you in the thought Hasbro should make $30 deluxe Captain America figure with the flight gear & extra set of hands/unmasked head. I would have gone for that but when you break down the numbers it makes sense, kinda. They make money this way. Good for them, not so good for us. I understand Hasbro has to look out for their bottom line after paying Disney for the license costs, but they could throw the fans a nod every once in a while though.
I like the diamond select one better but I think will go with the Marvel Legends because of them articulated wings and the stand and because the marvel select's scale is off for marvel legends

Am I the only one who’s disappointed hasbro didn’t make him in his red and white suit he wore before this suit. That version was my favorite look on him in the show I’m praying they make it one day because it’s long overdue
I don't understand why they didn't design the shoulders similar to previous figures. A separate softer shoulder pad, like on Worthy Cap, would have allowed them to articulate higher. Would've liked alternate fisted hands as well. There are directions for the flight gear on the back of the package. You've swapped the middle pieces. The hinge covers should be in front, preventing them from easily popping out during forward articulation. Because you mixed up the outer wings, I'm not sure which ones go where. There seems to be unique curves to each one, so just match them with the middle ones. I prefer the BAF to be a figure rather than an accessory.
The wave's not complete until Walker Cap. I wonder when that will drop. What I dislike is Loki BAF part. They could have given Captain America the pack that connects the wings. Loki could have been completely optional if you didn't mind not getting the drone or flight stand.

If by chance you can't get the whole wave of figures, your Captain America is going to either go wingless, or he is going to look stupid because part of his wing is missing. I was considering this wave, but I think I am going to skip it. At some point Disney will put out a movie with all these characters again. Probably using the exact same body or maybe updated body molds and maybe update the paint scheme on some figures, and also maybe finally give us a Sam Wilson head without goggles so I'll wait to see what they come out with next. Seriously, how many variations of MCU Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hulk, Thor, Winter Soldier, Thanos, Falcon, etc., do you have or have had in your collection. Hasbro will make more.
Having new sculpts should not be a rarity but the normal thing, this wave is 50-50 regarding new vs re-use, besides this won't be the last time Hasbro uses these molds, they will release this Captain America as a deluxe, Wanda in a two pack maybe for Dr Strange two and so on, so no excuse from Hasbro to bring a better BAF than this, either Bigger wings, more head sculpts, hands etc. Anyway 1.0 version of Hasbro are mostly like this, so I will wait for re-releases with better bang for you buck.
I really wish they make another Sam figure but with his new Falcon outfit and wings he had for a majority of the show. Plus I like the design of those wings more than his Captain America wings. And if they make them then hopefully they'll also fit this figure cause the white and blue feels a little too much, plus his wings in the comics were red even when he was Cap.
Unpopular opinion but they should just do away with the BAF concept all together. It's nothing more than an outdated gimmick to get people to shell out more money for figures they don't want. I would much rather pay for deluxe figs (such as MODOK or the Iron Monger 2 pack) than a whole wave.

I actually don't use this Figure as Falcon/Captain America or even Falcon. In my display I use this Figure as Battlestar of Silver Sable's Wild Pack. Another great African American hero with a Patriotic Costume and background. I'm kind of making up a Wild Pack Team.
Ya know what's bullshit, in the past they gave comic Wasp 4 articulated wings. It wasn't crazy but she was a regular release. They could've easily just packed the wings in parts in the Captain America box, and give us a BAF Agatha with interchangeable heads and effects pieces!!!

I would much rather pay the $30 for a deluxe edition of Sam Wilson with all of his flight gear included and complete than having to buy the whole wave. And if you don't buy the whole wave, your build a figure remains incomplete until you buy the other figures or buy the missing parts that you need from ebay for more than the cost of the figure.
When I get this Falcon Captain America I'm actually going to give the shield to Steve Waters and the buy to make my own Steve Rogers Captain America and the head to go back and actually make infinity War Sam Wilson Falcon not Captain America.

I think you’re able to swivel the wings upwards and then fold the wings forward to better recreate the helicopter scene
Yes, plus in that scene he was kneeling, and you can mostly reproduce it with the figure by putting it in a kneeling position.
