Season 1 Stats and Opinions (Season 1 Recap! Spoilers Ahead):
Now that it is the 2nd Season of Blox Moms, I am just going over some of the girl's solos and reciting their statistics in terms of placement. Then, I am ranking them based on my own personal opinion and preference. I wanna say this is just for fun and I think this show is creative and great!
Solos - Season 1 Statistics (Placements):
Amaya: "Insecurities" (1st Place), "Sad Girl" (1st Place, 1st Overall High Score), "Don't Look Back" (1st Place), "Unpredictable" (2nd Place National Runner-Up)
Veronica: "Underwater" (1st Place), "Face in the Crowd" (4th Place), & "It's Ok" (1st Place National Winner)
Aniyah: "Wonderful" (2nd Place), "Now That I've Found You" (2nd Place), & "Jelly" (4th Place Overall)
Kenzie: "Sunny Side Up" (2nd Place) & " I Love Candy" (5th Place)
*Kaitlyn: "Graceful" (3rd Place Overall)
1st Place Dancers (and Titles):
Amaya - 3 Wins
Veronica - 2 Wins (+ National Miss New York Dance Experience)
Season 1 Solos RANKED - (This is my personal opinion):
12. "Face in the Crowd" - Veronica - Dance incomplete and walked off. Still placed which is a slay for her.
11. "I Love Candy" - Kenzie - Cute and fun acro number, nice turns at the end, too simple, not very technical.
10. "Jelly" - Niyah - I loveeee the music! But poor girl hit the wall and that's actually really bad dance-wise.
9. "Wonderful" Niyah - She has some of the best music imo! But the timing was a bit off. Still did great tho!
8. "Sunny Side Up" - Kenzie - Again, this one was super cute and fun and she did a great job!! but simple.
7. "Insecurities" - Amaya - She executed this solo well. Good transitions and clean choreo.
6. "Now That I've Found You" - Niyah - Super good transitions and jazzy movements. Good timing!
5. "Underwater" - Veronica - Emotionally well-executed and choreo matched the song really well!!
4. "Sad Girl" - Amaya - Good transitions, choreography, music, and costume. Really good job!!
3. "Unpredictable" - Amaya - I love the song and choreography. I felt she ended a bit early on the turns, but for nationals, it was a really good routine!
2. "Don't Look Back" - Amaya - Eerie music, rapid and sharp movements to match, good transitions, nice end pose!
1. "It's Ok" - Veronica - The same dancer who has my least favorite solo, it just goes to show how much a dancer can get better when they are equally determined as they are talented. Emotions carried and song choice fit perfectly.
*If I were to include Kaitlyn's Season 1 Solo "Graceful" into these rankings I would put it just above "Jelly" at #10 because we only saw a little of the dance and it was good for what we got. I did not include it, however, because she did not join the team until this season as she was formerly a part of the "Sweet Pears Dance Center"
Again, love the series because I personally love the original show and this is the most accurate depiction of the real "Dance Moms" than any other Roblox or CZcams series of this kind.
