Just never have any other people on here ever again . Lucero & Grosso are the best .
Nnn
I want what Jeff and John had, friends like that are so few and far between. Rip Grosso man
I skated the Label all through grade school in the 00's. Skated the Label all through high school and then took a break for a decade because finding the boards became much harder in Canada. 2022 and I'm back on the label, baby. Grosso forever, Lucero for life.
"who the fuck wants to watch Grosso and Hendrix"
*Lee raises hand*
haha
Justin San Agustin lee Anderton lol from andertons
I could (and do) watch Grosso videos all day. The last honest man.
Miss you Jeff.
Skateboarders that survive and come through hell and high water and keep rolling through decades are legends. Simply due to time served alone!
KILLING me with the cliffhanger! Was already near foaming at the mouth waiting for part 2 hoping they'd talk about Grosso leaving for the One Eight and now I'm probably going to lose my mind waiting for part 3. I could watch/listen to these two legends talk for hours... Skateboarding as a whole is insanely fortunate to have guys like John Lucero and Jeff Grosso still contributing after all these years. Two (now) grown-ass men who have just kept grinding it out through all the ups and downs of the last 30 years of skateboarding. That's love right there.
Well said, I agree completely. I'd read a book by any of the two and would also be open to a podcast. Legends.
Lucero Schmitt sticks board was my favorite board I ever owned. Loved the shape.
Best weekend buzz ever! Keep the legend buzzes coming. The young dudes have nothing to talk about haha. Grosso is the man. I'm hyped for the next episode
This interviews should not be edited... You guys should turn the integral interviews some kind of a weekend buzz podcast.
I'd listen to that...
Fuck yes! Put on the podcast as I get ready to skate, roll my weed and put beers in a cooler. Great idea.
I could watch these two dudes tell stories all fucking day. Thanks for this Brink and Lee.
just listening to these dudes talk about skating and telling skate stories gets me stoked to skate
0:34 yes Jeff you are Legend !!
I still want to see Grosso and Agah skate....they're fucken rad.
I could watch hours of these 2 talking.
One of my earliest skate memories was being a little kid saving up my yard work dollhairs just to get Label Kills.
Never knew Jeff rode for Powell ...... I started skating in 85 when he was pro on Santa Cruz.
crazy huh? what's crazier is to go back and watch all those old powell videos and seeing Grosso in em!
Awesome, that was the quickest 15mins of my life. Thank you for the content
+frank black
I know, I had to double check that the video didn't skip over something, it felt like 5mins
love these dude man...wish i could have experienced those times.
+supakidgalaxy I feel that...i feel
schmitt stix made the best skateboards during the late 80s period.
N Voss
I second that. I broke all my boards apart from my Joe Lopez BBQ deck.
3rd part? Holy shit it's a miracle, these guys deserve one
I wish this was 10 parts. I could listen to them all day. :)
Label kills was the first skate video I ever saw, good memories.
first board was Schmitt Stix John Lucero bars deck. Black Venture trucks. green slimeball wheels. powell ribs..nose..amd tail. my neighbor had a blue g&s Blender coffee man deck with oj's and blue tracker 6 track ultralites. We skated the hell outta those decks. 2 inner city white boys skating anything in the ghetto that we could.
Love this!!! Can't wait for part 3's history lesson.
been watching this show for years now this was hands down the best 2 people. they talked about real shit and what it truly means to be a skateboarder... not all these joyless party shenanigans they have nothing to do with what were all here for in the first place... thank you ride channel for killing shit for years!
These are so awesome. Grosso needs a podcast.
Happy birthday grosso
Label Killls was one of my favorite vids growing up. I was 17 and Melcher just got on the team. He ripped it in Chicago back then. Jason Adams' best part ever.
Amazing!!!
Lucero & Grosso rules!!!
Thanks
LblKlls was such a breath of fresh air back then, from the style of skating, to the packaging to the attitude, everything. I've not rode another brand since. never be bought never be sold never forget
Thanks for this Ride Channel!
Those stories are way better than the wasted young skaters on the show like T Funk was. Sorry but those people at least have something to say!! Great show guys!
He wasn't that bad, he wasn't a neen Williams on here haha
Or a forest
+Ricardo Santos IV
What forest was on here? Sherwood? Redwood?
The Alex Midler and the other guy had one of the worst shows. Forrest was kinda cool lol
Julio
Forrest is the shit, but look at neen or pat burke, they were wild. No hate on them though, neen is killer and pat is the greatest man on earth.
Label kills is the most criminally underrated skate video of all time
My favorite 2 skaters of all time!#🛹👑s
We need the John&Jeff show!
How was there not much talk of Speyer, the dudes just as much a legend as Cardiel... Lets get a Wade episode!!
Lucero is the best man the way i see It all his hard work to me and this is only my opinion was giving back to the skating community that just show's how much he was nothing but sincere and honest in the most positive way ! Big up's to Lucero...Props to Grosso also for all his Brutal Honesty lol
best episode ever hands down part 1 & 2
Label kills was my first video. I used to watch it 40x a day
best guests yet
yessss!!! more!! part 3!
These videos ade SICK!
everybody wants to see grosso and Hendrix skate, I think more skate videos should have young talent mixed with legends, it would be a great contrast , if youngsters don't want to see this I feel sorry for them .
Totally agree with Grosso about not being able to skate and everything just being over if i can't do it any longer I mean I now have a herniated disk but it doesn't stop me i'm 45 now and i need skating as an outlet i just recently broke my ankle and I'm so pissed right now that I'm out six weeks...Sux
“Dont you have to be dead to be a legend?” Well, Jeff, youre a fuckin legend and a hero now. We love ya and miss you.
I never met him, Ill never forget him. -Dreaming, Blondie
I still have the Label Kills Cassette. So much Memories !!!
You guys should release all the parts at once.
You are now a proper legend Grosso !!!!
p.s label kills was a fuckin great video !!!!
I bought Label Kills on vhs when it came out. I watched it so many times the tape got all fuzzy and didn't play right. Easily my favorite skate video. I've ridden nothing but Black Label since then.
Awesome
Label Kills any song from that vid comes on radio or whatever sends chills down my spine. Never be bought never be sold!!!
+Liam McT That whole soundtrack and video are epic. Taught me about so much good music in my high school years. Not to mention, to my knowledge, Mike V's first song is the only good KISS song in their entire discography.
+BierBrille Agreed!! I saw some younger kids waxing a curb the other day and they were trying to Ollie up and grind it. Just stopping dead every time. I told them check out Label Kills. Wherever you can find it watch it and it'll show you some A-Z of skateboarding. Start them off on the right foot!! Haha
Grosso and Lucero fucking rule.
after this you guys can just end this series. lucero and grosso forever.
Cool dude !!
I remember these doods early 2000s at the local vans orange park... excellent times I was a lil booger then
John Lucero... Write a fucking book please.
Jeff was fckn awesome. Also had an awesome deck
If i could skate with two people for the rest of my life, Grosso and Lucero or BUST.
part 2 of 3? wish it was like part 2 of 50...
I remember them being big in the early 2000's
Grossos label kills part isn't on CZcams?
Label kills was well received in my town in Scotland, livingston skaters where always about the transition and seeing something come out that was more a kin to the skating we all loved was like a shot of adrenaline for the skatepark. I'm sure someone was getting flowed boards from the park don't know if it was mark burrows or stu Graham, but there were a lot people repping black label back in the early 2000s because of that and majority of the other board brands that we had access to in Scotland were 8.00 at the max because everyone was skating 7.25-7.75 size boards at the time and the bigger boards weren't doing aswell in sales so shops wouldn't carry them.
Missed this...
Label Kills is pretty much my favorite modern video. Jason Adams part is the best...
I had a black label in high school and I remember everyone loved it and also had one. The barcode, it was so sick
Jeff moves my wood.
Lucero should do letters... He deserves it.
Jeff “moves wood” Grosso
core skatelife
Finished a six pack of PBR watching this video👌🏻👍🏻👏🏻🤘🏻✌🏻️💪🏻🖕🏻👊🏻😊🍻
"Give people Advice" 😄 they don't have to give any advice , They gave the example .. They are the Example ! 🙏
*Sick!* Hahahaha. Fuck yeah John and Jeff.
make a dill and gonz interview that would be sick
RIP Grosso!
The label!!
You guys should bring atiba on the show
So, here you have it! True, honest
f#%kin' history! Do you, and I do not only mean you kids, but people of my ancient status also, have got even the slightest glimpse of what or who 'Schmitt' is?!
Well, even the allmighty internet will have major difficulties in letting you know the facts here, trust me!
Just be assured that anything you consider to be actual facts in the history of skateboarding are just not so true at all.
I wonder if they got some free furniture.
Great fucking interview but jesus Grosso let Lucero finish his story.
Brasil?
France?
+1OOOO Ireland?
+EsotericOccultist Java
+1OOOO não sou do Brasil
+Fabrizio Garcia não sou do Brasil
i fucking believed 2 man LABEL KILLS
haahhah Grosso if fuckin faded
Jeff moves my wood... Hiyo.
get grant taylor on the show
+Griffin Brophy Grant is one of the best ATV skaters of all time (right after Phil Shao r.i.p) He is a pretty mellow personality. The interview would be nowhere near as good as Lucero/Grosso. This is the BEST Buzz episode EVER. The only thing that could even be up to par to this episode would be a Gonz or Howard interview. Good Luck on that one!
Hey, can you get me a few boards? No man, we will just make you your own model. From a man with an empty wallet from his own garage.
GROSSO LIKES GUM
Riley Ulrich nicotine gum

Can the host of the show quit talking over the guest
