Generally, there is no stopping at the border for Customs check. However, they may check occasionally if they have any suspicion.
Yes the toll machine is automatic and you can pay through the credit card. From Geneva to Annecy, the toll is 8€

Thanks for watching the video. No sticker is required in France if you enter from Geneva. However, if you rent a vehicle from France and enter Switzerland, you require Swiss sticker.
