- We are starting a new fence project and decided to try something different with the corner posts. Instead of setting the pipe in concrete we are driving them into the ground using the Kubota SSV75 and the Danuser Hammer.

Your brother just using what was handy for marking. True country boy
5:58 You just keep your seat, set there and think,,,,love it!
I could definitely hear some “Tim the toolman Taylor” man grunting lol. Definitely a fun “toy” for chores. Price for rental? Less than $300. Quality time with your brother? Priceless ❤️😂🥰🤗
Those post drivers are beast! I've helped drive some post with them and they are absolutely the best way to go. Thanks for sharing.
My neighbor has one he charges $60 an hour 😉 He did the posts in a 1/2 acre field in an hour, $60. Then he fixed my winter area, replaced a few posts charged me $40 🐸 great neighbor to have around. I hire him for a lot of things. He has a tractor with attachment for just about any thing, $60 per hour, and he loves it.
Reminds me of back in the day with my dad and his farmer friends, they all helped each other.
And once you get the fence done, it's going to look like it's been there for 10 years because there's no sign of the installation and digging of the holes. That is pretty awesome
Those are cool.. We used one to drive 2 semi loads of 10ft long 6in and Red Top field fence to fence in 160 acres. It worked great, and I would have hated to have to hand dig all those holes. lol. And for T-post, you can use your tractors loader/bucket to push them into the ground. A friend of mine tack welded a piece of pipe 3 inches long onto the bottom of his bucket for the top of the T-posts to go into to hold them from slipping while it pushed them into the ground. It's 10 times faster than driving them by hand. He pulled a line and used spray paint to put a dot on the ground where each T-post was to go, and then I stood the posts up and he pushed them down with the bucket. Work smarter not harder. lol.
Let people know when they use wood post, drive the thinner end into the ground! And when you dig holes 🕳 the thicker end in the ground.
Wow. The hammer is fantasy come true. I remember my father breaking his back over digging post holes. If he was here now he would love it
Great job
My cousin has a fence company, he primarly does 3 and 4 board and field fence. He has been using a post driver on wood posts for several years on his skid steer, he never digs hole anymore.
I don't care if it's 500 a day, that thing is a serious time and back saver! Thanks for sharing!
yeah kubotas are only ones has the good powerful pressure in them skid loaders even that 75hp ssv 75
Darn right
@@johnchase4408 there about $48,000 for the ssv 75 and svl 75-2 both for same price and ssv 90-2 and svl 90-2 are $50,000
Best invention since the wheel. Makes life easier
I have a Danuser LM40 on my Kubota M4 Tractor. It will drive up to 10” flat wooden posts and even t-posts. And you can add up to 200 pounds to the hammer to give it more force! Just push the t-post in. But if it’s dry, you can buy the t-post adapter to allow you to drive them. When driving wooden posts, drive the smaller ends into the ground so they get tighter as they get deeper. It’s different than digging them in, where you would want the larger end in the ground. The machine is a beast. It cost me $10,500 but it’s worth every penny!
Daniel, I had 10" of snow fall on my peas, lettuce, carrots and beets this week. They love it! Keeps them cozy and they grow like crazy! Sorry to hear about your 40°. LOL!
Amazing piece. Of equipment wow that's really nice sincerly yours. Mr.don

The United States runs out of fencing material as Arms Family Homestead builds the final fence section and achieves its life long goal of fencing every square inch of Oklahoma that is not fenced and fences off the border as well and also builds the world's largest maze and sells tickets and has food and building booths.
My buddy has a Danuser Hammer that I have used. It will drive 6-8" flat bottom corner posts until you hit solid rock or run out of post (Here in N. Central WV, you're gonna hit rock). Sure beats the heck out of Shaver or similar style drivers! Great video!
That is wonderful. I would like to ride that around all day. But i'm sad..... No Lambert. But at least I got to see Bear and Bella!!!!!
That's a great attachment to the skid loader!!!Thanks for sharing!
Love your brother. ,,,,, he's a hero !!!
Spit the goto marking tool for 5000 years.
Such a great thing smart idea we all know digging holes and back filling or pounding posts by hand sucks lol
WOW THAT A MACHINE 👍😮
I wonder how well that would work here in Louisiana 🤔 out water table is so shallow we start hitting water about 2 feet down. The only benefit is that you can just drop the concrete in the hole and use the ground water to mix it 🤣🤦🏻♀️i know it'd work for metal pipe but im a fan of using the big round wood ones for corner post. My papaw loved railroad ties....you know how hard it is to get a railroad tie out of the ground thats been concreted in for 40+ years 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

That machine sure beats .... beating the post to death😀 Hammer time👍👍
These definitely save time. A friend of mine owns one that pulls behind pickup. Drove about 300 wood posts with it last year. Just not having to tamp post holes is well worth it.
That attachment is a beast...definite time saver and back....as always prayers..🖒
That thing is AWESOME. I'm sure we will rent when we build our fence on our land in Chico TX. Thank You!!!!
Love your videos
Watching from Bangladesh
Two words. Awe. Some. 👍🏻😁
Awesome video Daniel that post hammer is awesome. Gosh talk about helping cut your work time. Wow u have more time for Going to the creek or pond with the family getting a few fish. Huston I bet would like to see it drive a few post. Have a great day thank u for sharing keep doing what uU do nice vlogs.
Nice ! Thank's 4 All .
Fun to watch the hammer work! What a time saver! Big boys and their toys! Thanks G.P. rents!💕
By the way. Between you and your brother you got the looks and the brains in the family. Lol. Not kidding.
Now that’s a piece of equipment I would like to have! Puts my old post pounder to shame.
Looking at the vibrations through the ground, it should get rid of your mole problem!!!
LOL!😆😂👍
THAT is a cool piece of equipment !
Seriously, I'm watching a ton of money making all this happen. And I'm tickled pink for your families success. Don't shy away from telling us the Financials. It helps complete the picture.
That's an awesome price. In my area, they want 400 just for the cat. They don't even have the hammer.
That was a productive day Daniel!! I saw a clip on Instagram yesterday and wondered just what you were busy with. What a time and energy saver that machine was, fun to watch! Nice to see Houston having fun with his friend on the trampoline too.😀
Wow! With this machine you really don't need a PHD! PHD as in = Post Hole Digger. LOL! ;)
Whoah! I need one of those! Great idea for a large fencing project.
Wow that thing is AWESOME!☝️👌👍👍
What a great tool to use. Someone just starting out could safe weeks of work building pens and fences.
That is one awesome piece of machinery!!! That’s the perfect way to put posts in!!!
I wish I had something like this on hand when we were setting fence.
Wow! That's impressive. Lucky you. You got it free! What a labor saver. I never thought it was possible to drive a wood 6 inch somewhat rotten old fencepost 4 ft in the ground. WOW!
I want to rent one just for the heck of it. Wife says I better have a purpose or "NO", so now I have to find something to use it for. Thanks! LOL
Awesome setup, would love to get one of those monsters for our property. Amazing how easy that makes those hammer into the ground.
Love your videos keep it up
I agree that is a good price. And it picks them up too. Unlike traditional drivers.
I really get a kick out of watching you when you try something new. . You remind me of my belated husband, whom I knick-named My Gadget Man. Now if it was him, after trying it, he would go out and buy two, just in case one broke down during a job. LOL.
awww some what a great peice of equipment, scott
You guys doing awesome job. Enjoy your day.
Awww did u see that??! Bear right there next to his poppa, watching his back! ❤❤ love dogs so much!❤
You could use that kubota with the claw to drag the dead trees out of the creek, that were messing up the creek and making it slimy!!
I tried everywhere in my state to rent one finally ended up buying one. For the people that say they won’t work I would say they probably will we drive 8 inch wood posts with a flat end into dry desert ground. It will work with the round rocks if you have a little bit of moisture in the ground it just pushes the rocks out-of-the-way. I don’t know how it will work with shale or flat rocks. You can’t use pointed wooden post as they tend to go crooked.Bottom line is they work a lot better than you think.
Wow, that is so cool, love to see it slam them in 😃, that's going to make things easy. Bless you all.
We own a post pounder, and it makes the job 3000 times easier. It hooks onto a tractor and uses PTO for power not a skidloader. But it's still very nice. My dad and I can get a whole couple pastures done in one day if both of us are doing something different.
This tool is a game changer I fenced 40 acres and man after blisters a second set of post hole diggers a huge Rock bar and 7 months later it was done.
i’ve used foam for corner post, worked great for me
Yep that is one hell of a machine driving Post in the ground like that saved your back and time which that ride alone is well worth the money especially if you have a bunch of post to put in the ground good video Daniel thanks for sharing it with us great job be safe
Kubota looking mintttt
Houston is a one of a kind and caring person
Awesome piece of machinery!!
Daniel I've been doing this for 30 years with pipe and all those in the past are still just like they were the day they were drove best way ever You don't disturb the ground like digging holes it's tight!
I would be happy with 40°. It's barely above freezing here in Michigan and raining.
It's snowing heavy right now in Wisconsin.
Ryan
I gotta get me an agreement with a company like that! Sheesh... freaking awesome
I am so impressed. We'll need to remember it when we have stretches of fence to replace.
I agree that machine is awesome. You probably didn’t need that wooden post in the ground, but just couldn’t resist playing with that new toy a little longer. LOL. Always enjoy your videos. Hugs from Ft. Worth, TX.
Guys and their toys. Lol. Glad you all had so much fun. Hehe. Thanks for sharing.
WOW!! Excellent vlog! One super machine! Thanks Daniel.👍🙂😊
That is one heck of a machine! I had no idea you could rent something like that. Impressive!
Boys and their toys and girls can also give it a whirl. Gotta love machines. ❤️ ❤️
What a fun toy lol. 😃
Daniel, you finally got some help. Ha ,your brother and that lil kubota
Basically it was free when you factor cost of concrete and rental cost of auger. Plus your posts are done in 1 day. Excellent!
Pretty cool machine. Thanks for sharing.
GREAT MACHINE
Good ole drill pipe!
I love this machine
Be, safe & be Blessed. Happy SUNDAY . Maybe some day do ride along !
I heard loud hammer sounds and drove to track the source. Amazing! I parked and watched for a good thirty minutes!
Thanks for sharing!
Maybe put a birdhouse on top of your wooden post.
Great machine and great vid!
That was a really cool video, thanks for sharing
Just amazing what you can get done with the right tool
Great video and machine
What an awesome piece of machinary.
That’s pretty awesome. That definitely beats the traditional way of setting fence posts.
Awesome piece of kit!
Dan Dan The Ramblen Man.
We used a post driver to drive my wooden fence post. 8” post. You need to include your brother in more videos. The Uncle Si of Arms Family Homestead. Tim
Good job, If there is an attachment that I can put on my New Holland LS170 skid steer to get a job done with less sweat I'm all in. Keep up the great videos. 👍
That's getter done😉
That’s fantastic.
that's one heck of a machine!, got my wheels turning, ( I have 10 acres with horses in Iowa)
Wow, I agree Daniel, you I fact save a bunch of 💰
Great job
Imagine all the miles of fence you could get done in a day of this sort of fencing
Now that's how to get fence posts done!!!
Just wow! 🤗
