The bigger cases were called trunks by Mattel, and the smaller ones for one doll, cases. I much prefer the trunks as you can display and see the clothes properly

I out a little rubbing alcohol on a q tip and wash the face avoiding the paint. Thus for a long while the oily shine goes away with no apparent damage after all these years.
