Hi I am not getting back up of my I phone on Google drive. It’s showing last back up data as my old Android back up date instead of latest one
It definitely worked for me, my advice is to :
1. have space in iCloud if you had an iPhone previously.
2. Do your best to not ask everytime for the WhatsApp verification code, after 6 times you will given 6 hours before receiving a code, and after that 24 hours. So do your BEST to use the first 6 times carefully ( in my case I had to wait 5 days to complete the transfer because of the verification code ).
3. Just follow the steps EXACTLY as they are in the video.

A year b4 when i was switching to iphone triable situation happens as I don't have laptop. I went local shop to transfer Whatsapp they were asking 200aed above and i was ready but question was it is safe to give Data to unknown shop guys. Sadly i move without backup. Hi, I would like to ask how have you been able to have the android detect the iphone when connected by cables? Just use the type to lightning cable if not working try changing the cable, USB debugging should be turned on

Did you turn on USB debugging? Also when you connect there is a pop up of trust between iPhone and android, also try charging the cable

I'm a heppy, heppy ket! This worked wonderfully.... although it did cost me a bit over $40.... $23 for the app, and $20 for the lightning cable. I guess it was worth it . What's app is the only app that didn't transfer from my iPhone to new Android phone.
The thing is.... and a relevant consideration, is that I had tried instralling WhatsApp on my new Android phone before using Wutsapper, and it DID recognize my account, and recreated all my conversations, but it did not include older messages, which I wanted to keep. Fortunately, by uninstalling WhatsApp, I was able to clear those out, and the transfer program worked just fine. I did NOT need a factory wiped phone. I already had Google accounts and whatnot installed on the new Android, but it worked great.

I have paid and followed the instructions in your video. It has worked upto when I downloadthe whatsapp on my samsung phone and put in the phone no and codes. When it ask to restore data, I clicked that as well. The keeps saying cannot restore data, connect to Internet and try again later. 🙄 I have been trying this since yesterday but it isn't restoring the data. Please help.
Kindly try to change the cable and try again, I hope USB debugging is turned on l, also you can ask the developer of the app to give you free desktop version if doesn’t work

Try to change the cable and turn off and on usb debugging
after connecting the 2 devices and starting the data transfer, I get message "No backup password found, you need set backup password in iphone". I tried icloud password and iphone PIN but none of them seem to work.
I solved the issue by disabling the Mobile Device Management (it is required to use corporate apps)

I've tried this but it fails at recognising the backed up data. It asks me to check backup in Google drive but nothing shows

It's really painful to repeat the same steps again and again for last 4 days and nothing works.
Finally I was able to get it done.
Just for your reference the larger the WhatsApp data back up, more chances of failure as it gets stuck and takes lots of time.
I had to remove majority of the media to make it work. But happy as the chats were restored.
It's stays at 100 percent transferred and does t move on

Near the end, when converting back up on the Android phone, I keep running into an error, asking me to delete Whatsapp from my phone.
My phone doesn't allow me to delete it though, only uninstall / force stop. Clearly this isn't enough as the error persists. Anyone else had this?
