Dead man's family lodges report

- The distraughted family of a 22-year-old man who died in police custody yesterday lodged a police report this evening allegeding foul play.

I am so utterly disappointed with how some people have commented. Even animals have their own rights. This man is being tortured and not interrogated. Please know the difference by looking at those bruises. A suspect has no evidence stating that he is the accuse for car theft, till evidence is gathered from cross reference. Regardless of the race......we all will react the same for this kind of torture. Just imagine its being happening to someone you love......

2 weeks ago at jln.sultan azlan shah in ipoh, a malay woman who was riding a motorbike skidded and she fell on the road,unable to get up,immediately two indian youths and an old chinese man helped her. well,this is real malaysia. i've seen a lot of ppl helping each other regardless of their race.i've never bothered of the race and religion of the person i help. let's be human.

why would the ones who raped their own grand daughters get tortured? they have already pleaded guilty and they know they gonna get tortured for years of sentencing..da..this man got tortured because he is holding to important information...and my childhood days experienced has brought an impact on how i perceived this issue..

I honestly don't rule out the fact that this case could have been racially motivated. DISGUSTING I must say the way that our police force are unjust and biased.

Malay police men will do the killing and blame hv to be taken by indian police men.
Don't assuming it racist, the gangster in Malaysia are too violent on killing anyone for fun. For this situation the police have to be violent to the gangster and this is the most efficient way to stop the teenage to become gangster and parent will more focus on their kid not to become gangster. I would said it does not count it is Indian, Chinese or Malay, gangster that kill people have to die. Would the court are easy to have enough evidence to arrest the gangster before they killed a lot of public people.
Not so sure about this related to gangster killer, if it is just small crime then I would said the police is VERY WRONG, but if it is a gangster in somehow it have to do something without the law to avoid more worse to happen.

what if ur car been stolen? what would you do? U want to get the person to talk right..to tell you where's ur car, They would not talk if they are not hurt so you got to beat the person until they talk and tell you everything..that are police work. Even the americans does that to suspected terrorist..sometimes people die from torture.
